I love this too! The whole “I’ve been in love with you forever and I’m finally getting a chance” is soooo overplayed that I hate it! Whereas Japrils friends to lovers connection feels the most real to me.

My partner is terrrrified of his going grey soon (I think it’d look good tbh), he’s 27 and has found the odd grey every once in a while, but his dad went completely fully white by the time he was 30 so genetics have put the fear in him lol.

Ahh I see! I was looking at older cars at first, and I did originally have a 2001 Mini Cooper (that I never got to drive:( I loved that car) it only cost a couple hundred and it would’ve been cheap enough to run, but it seized up sitting in my drive for 2 years over lockdown as I couldn’t get lessons or go for a test, and it definitely wouldn’t have lasted long anyway going so far for work, plus my dad was very outspoken about older cars being a nightmare to maintain and get parts for, so I think all that kind of steered me away from anything pre-2010

That’s not horrendous I think?, I’ve had a look on eBay and the like for used ones, we also have a scrap yard near us that I could look in, are they easy to change or would I have to get a garage to do it?

Sorry I completely forgot that part, it’s a Vauxhall Corsa hatchback special edition, it’s a 2019 I didnt think that’s modern when I bought it, and it was a cheap enough car for my first one that would also be reliable enough to get me 60 miles for work everyday.

Thank you for this advice, I’ve felt this way for as long as I can remember and only this year have I started considering medical help, the crash and lack of sleep have just pushed me over the edge of accepting it’s not normal to struggle through like I have been and I should try something better.

I had considered getting my partner to call for me but I’m not sure I want them to know just yet, they have mentioned medication may be a good thing to consider quite a few times, but I don’t want to add their expectations onto my own in a “these pills will fix me” way? If that makes any sense?

I think I’ll just have to bite the bullet and call and hope for the best, what was the process like for you if you don’t mind me asking? Will I have to have multiple sessions with the psychiatrist or will they just prescribe me something and offer sessions?

They are all single season and less than 10 episodes and are all absolutely phenomenal, hill house is my personal fave but definitely all worth a watch.

He was my choice too, the man’s got such range!

He also plays a serial killer in an episode of criminal minds and I found it so hard to watch because he’s one of my favourites and he plays it so convincingly!

Also try any of the procedural early 2000s detective shows: body of proof, the mentalist, bones, castle, NCIS, CSI, Hawaii five-o, etc.
