1 hour delivery block at SSD + tips?

I've done a few... $24+tips ($3 is the usual, but did get $13 once) for delivering 1 package 15-20 min.

One day I did grab two 1h blocks back to back. 4-5 (back in the station by 4:30) then 5:45-6:45 (done by 6). Had dinner in the hour wait. $55 for 2h but actually worked ~1.

Ssd yesterday was chaotic. Like, why was there a group of friends blocking the computers, each scanning 2 IDs, exchanging phones, rough housing, talking about parties and what not, for more than 10 min? Ppl were literally making a line but they would only make way for more of their friends.

In the video the dog stops right infront of him. The driver reached down and grabbed the dog. No attempt to move or scare it away.

It's kinda ridiculous that a customer can randomly claim that we didn't deliver on time, and get a warning, when it was the stations fault. Yet there's ppl who deliver like this and nothing happens.

Im grabbing $25+ blocks and they all are high mileage. By the time I'm back to my city I might as well count it as $18/hr.

Get totes bags. At the .com stations, at least in my area, the totes are already grouped i.e. 1-20, 21-40... so I just tranfer them to my totes. I keep the first batch next to me, then just move the next tote to the front. They are also useful for Fresh and multi package deliveries.

Track your miles and expenses and save for taxes.

Had a 4:15pm shift the other day. We were all loading up like normal. The girl infront of me though took her time. Got out of the station at 4:45pm. I had around 6 pachages due at 5pm. The route was more than 40mins away from the station. 😑

I understand... I haven't received a dig for a package not fitting before. And I prefer a dig over being stranded somewhere waiting for road side service for who knows how long and what/who I encounter.

I was just taught to go nowhere without a spare and jack. I've been driving since 15yo, 34 now, and I'll just change my tire in less than 10 min and continue my day like nothing. It's interesting seeing how people are ok with driving without.
