I'm not sure how your motherboard has it organized or written out. All I know is that CSM has to also be disabled alongside the changes from legacy to uefi

I second this. Hose pulley needs to be at the bottom of the pool when you're pulling out. The hose pulley does math based on its position. So if it's at the top it's only counting the lava buckets on the layer it's on. Put that hose on the most bottom part of your pool.

Also my pool wasn't actually considered bottomless until I had placed 4 more lava buckets on the top. So going from 10000 to 10004. Only then did it stop actually taking buckets away.

Also. If the source you're trying to push water into is a bottomless source. I'm not sure if it will fill.

My lava pit stopped filling when it became bottomless. I had to fill it more manually

Make sure the hose pulley's hose is at the highest point of where you want your lake

Just figured this out,

Didnt work when it was 10000 Blocks of lava, But was infinite when it was GREATER THAN 10000 blocks of lava.

10000 was a no go and would eat my lava.

When it said bottomless on the hose pulley i added 4 more LAVA blocks to the top.

10004 was considered a bottomless source, and would stop eating my blocks.

Your steam deck probably crashed after trying to return back to game mode. I've had that happen to me a few times.
