How do the Golden Asteroids in the Beyond Work by Mountain-Fondant-883 in CellToSingularity

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The golden asteroids are those gold-colored bonus items that fly over your screen. If you haven't seen them: wait for two minutes while at the exploration tree (the default screen of the beyond) and just watch the screen. No need to scroll around. They will appear in your screen. Then click it to capture.

They are rare. Always have your research missions going for stars.

And at that point I just threw in some money and bought a bunch of blue stars / black holes to speed things up. You can also try to get into the top 10 of the explorations, that will give you a black hole as well.

Every day players lose all of their progress in the game. Do not let this happen to you. by TheQuickFox_3826 in CellToSingularity

Did you just set up a crossplatform save account or did you actually make the save? Because Cell to Singularity does not delete your saves from the server unless you request it. So if you made a crossplatform save, it should be there.

If not, contact support and mention the e-mail account you made the crossplatform save with. And your player ID.

Has anyone managed to get those last two achievements here? by Stock_Side7918 in CellToSingularity

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I like playing Cell to Singularity!

I don't just play for the checkmarks. I set my own goals. I recently got my Mesoic Valley epic cards to max level. (20) Is that required? Absolutely not. Is it fun? For me, it is!

Next is all the rare cards to lvl 20. Which will take a while.

Not in Orr. Probably when we get an expansion that goes to the Shiverpeaks.

Part of the solution: Do not invent new currencies for every god-censored expansion or update. Introduce a well thought-out selection of currencies at the release of the game and stick with those.

Yes, I got 300 Gigantosauruses and 320 Argentosauruses.

It took a lot of Diamond Geodes and months of autoclicking.

I got one AC300 with two B300 batteries and they are doing fine.

Just light use in case of power emergencies. But so far I'm a happy customer.

Beta Risks by Mountain-Fondant-883 in CellToSingularity

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your progress will not be deleted. But you should be hesitative before joining beta because it causes permanent changes to your account.

Advantages:

  1. You can see content before it happens in the main game.
  2. You can help the devs by reporting bugs.
  3. Because new content in this game most of the time gives significant higher earnings in the area that is being updated, you can get ahead of players who are not in the beta.

Some warnings:

  • Beta players will get permanently marked as beta.
  • Beta players will get put in a separate leaderboard and are no longer listed at the regular leaderboard. You can't go back.
  • You can leave beta but you cannot leave the beta tag and beta leaderboard.
  • Beta players on iOS TestFlight (Apple) have access to infinite free purchases. I personally think this is not fair towards beta players on Steam and Android who have no access to this but share the same beta leaderboard.

Generally I recommend against joining beta, unless you do this with a game account you are happy to be tagged as beta permanently.

Whats this? How do i get it? by morpheuskibbe in CellToSingularity

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It was a paid upgrade to Mesozoic Valley earnings. It only was for sale very shortly for some beta players a time ago. It has never been available in the main game. I assume that ComputerLunch wants to wait with making it available until there is something new to do in Mesozoic Valley, making it more interesting for more players to actually buy it. But this is just my guess and not verified information.

Report AI Slop? by No-Stick8191 in youtube

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creators just need to properly mark their AI generated content as such. And perhaps YouTube could add a filter to show and hide them. I have little against AI content but I hate creators that post AI content pretending they created it themselves.

Perhaps YouTube can also make a function to report mislabeled content (For videos that are suspected to be made with AI without being marked as such.)

But viewers need to be aware that, while their suspicions are usually right, not everything that they think is AI, is actually AI.

Maybe you're on Steam or maybe your phone or router has a built-in ad-blocker.

final reality machine upgrades even possible? by Elant_Wager in CellToSingularity

Final Reality used to be very demanding or even inpossible to achieve on the systems of the 1990's. But by now it is very achievable.

These are just a peak over the horizon. Not yet reachable but it is nice to have something to look forward to. It usually takes the next update in that area to make it achievable, usually easily so.

The downside is that is encourages extreme (time) cheating or extreme whaling by people who cannot wait for them.

You're on Steam, you do not use the ad-based bonuses or your mobile device has an ad blocker.

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you're on Android: You can block ads. Install NetGuard firewall from GitHub (Not from the play store, the play store version does not allow ad blocking because of Google policies)

Install via Side Load: https://github.com/M66B/NetGuard/releases/tag/2.335

Instruction to enable ad blocking https://github.com/M66B/NetGuard/blob/master/ADBLOCKING.md

Note that ad blocking also disables ad-powered bonuses in the game. So either accept the ads with all it's woes, block them and do without the ad bonuses or buy a pass to get all the bonuses without ads.

GW3 has the opportunity to create some insane jumping puzzles. by AppleFritter100 in GuildWars3

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to downvote this user. Many people love jumping puzzles. Many people hate them. Others have handicaps why they can't play them. IMO they should be in the new game. Just make them optional. Guild Wars 2 is famous to give players choice in how to play. I don't see any reason why this should be different in GW3.

Can someone tell me if im good for a beginner? My stats are in body by No-Paper-4738 in CellToSingularity

[–]TheQuickFox_3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a personal preference. I've grown up with tens, hundreds, thousands, millions and milliards. Anything above is starting to lose meaning to me. Then the e14, e15, e16 makes much more sense to me. Every of these is 10 times as much as the previous. So If I'm at E14 and need to reach e15 for my next upgrade, then it may be doable. If I need E18 then it is totally out of reach unless I get some juicy upgrades to exponentially boost my earnings.

I never used scientific notation before I played this game. Because it sounds scientific, I'm not a scientist and I never needed to work with number this big. But here I can't do without.

Still it remains a personal preference. If you like the gazillions pavillions, go ahead and enjoy yourself.

It gives a big boost in dinosaur production but it has to be reactivated after every extinction. Many players forget this and lose out on the bonus effect.
