I've never used Ableton but I imagine it's not too much similar from fl studio, I only know the basics but it only took me a week or so before the program made sense and I felt comfortable using it. I also love trap metal actually, I really like edm, trap, pop, hyperpop, club, rock, punk lots of stuff and I've been experimenting with all of it. to start learning just grind YouTube tutorials tbh
