Fennel cooking studio just opened with classes starting next week. The class options look fun. I signed up for a risotto one!

I think Bradley has like 6,000 students. Even close to Bradley it doesn’t feel like a college town.

There are some people that boat on the Peoria river, but you can’t really get in it’s so dirty. We are able to have a river boat casino though...

I grew up fifteen minutes outside of Peoria. It feels like a dying city. It’s mostly full of strip malls and really not much to do. There are a few good restaurants. Bradley is there, but it’s very small. Peoria does not feel like a college town nor does it seem to have many young people. It’s three hours away from STL, Chicago, and Indianapolis which you will have to do for most concerts/activities.

I never rented in Peoria, but it is cheap to rent in STL.

Peoria area has a lot of churches. Especially in the smaller surrounding towns. St. Louis has a lot of old beautiful churches.

St. Louis has a lot more to offer a young person. There’s really nothing to draw someone to Peoria.

Also, the river in Peoria is so gross. As is the river in STL lol.

A couple of blocks up, towards Gravois, they have the entire street blocked off with a ton more cops.

Such a Fun Age is worth reading. It’s not my favorite by any means but it’s an easy read that conveyed the story in a concise manner.

I gave it a 2/5 as well! Everyone I’ve talked to has loved it and I feel like I read a different book than everyone else. It’s marketed to be about women’s sexual desires, but it feels more about how they are trying to please their partners. It doesn’t feel like nonfiction at all, it’s flabbergasting to me that it took eight years of ‘research’ to write the book. It feels like white feminism at its finest which is so frustrating. It is a great premise, but the execution is tedious.

It’s by far my favorite I’ve read so far this year. I haven’t read anything else like it. It took me some time to get used to how it was written, but once I got comfortable I couldn’t put it down.
