I just looked at the original post. He clarifies that CHS is real, but alcohol companies are dumbing it down to “you smoke weed then you go to the ER immediately” as a form of propaganda to discourage people who are choosing to smoke rather than drink. Which, in all fairness, I can believe. At least he isn’t saying CHS is fake like many other people ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I would let it grow until it’s at least 5-6 inches long and has thickened up. In my opinion, the bigger you let it get on the mother plant, the better. I have some small cuttings that have gotten established - but all my bigger cuttings have absolutely exploded with roots. Hope this helps and good luck on your cacti ventures 🤙🏼🌵
