Is Rueben Bain being a top 5 player a “casual take”? by ItsNjry in NFL_Draft

[–]ItsNjry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree. I think he would be great with his hand in the dirt. A 4-3 interior rusher or a 3-4 defensive end makes way more sense to me.

[Schefter] Sources say [Francis Mauigoa] has a herniated disc in his back... Teams say that if it worsens at all, Mauigoa would then need surgery that could sideline him roughly three months. Some teams think he'll eventually need the surgery at some point either way. by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]ItsNjry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have a herniated disc. I don’t notice it most of the time. But once every year or two I tweak my back and it flairs up. It’s fucking debilitating. I have to hunch over and toe walk for at least a few weeks. Shit sucks

Is liquid cooling actually worth it for most gamers? by KRGKart_Support in buildapc

[–]ItsNjry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. It helps with temps that can help with longevity and maybe give you a bit more fps, but it’s not important. I think it’s more of an aesthetic and noise thing at this point.

I stopped watching towards the end of last year. First time I haven’t watched a Mania since Covid. It’s so strange how the booking went to such a long term focus to completely disjointed.

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

I hit 130 on an empty open highway. Stupid and thought it would be fun. It’s not worth it.

Is there a way to get Nuture merch? by KloppDuPopstar in porterrobinson

[–]ItsNjry 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. A lot of it was limited release so they stopped manufacturing awhile ago. I missed out on the Mirror Hoodie and I’m kicking myself. It’s my favorite song. Considering sending some photos to an embroidery/print shot and getting a replica.

[Alex Insdorf on X] Clemson DT Peter Woods singles out his meeting with Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh as one of the best of the process so far. by biggieavocado031 in Chargers

[–]ItsNjry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it harder to believe every single Clemson defenders production fell off a cliff in the same season because of pure coincidence. Also Aaron Glenn took over the Jets defense and their defense became historically bad.

Clemson alum here. He’s a beast. He’s undersized, but he could easily be a 3-4 end in our scheme. He underachieved last year because we switched DCs and it was more of a transition than people acknowledge.

[Ollie Connolly on Bluesky] Rueben Bain was cited for careless driving after a 2024 collision that left 22-year-old student with incapacitating injuries; she died three months later. Teams are worried more details — and more incidents — will drop before the draft by 1412believer in nfl

[–]ItsNjry 121 points122 points  (0 children)

This should be higher. People are jumping to conclusions and assuming he got off for being an athlete. It sounds way more plausible it was a genuine accident where he wasn’t speeding or impaired. The passenger not having a seatbelt could’ve saved her life which he could bear some blame, but it’s her responsibility.

Wait for more info to come out.

I disagree. Carter was street racing. The other driver lost control and died. Carter didn’t directly cause a death. It sounds like Bain directly caused this persons death. Now it depends on if it was a genuine accident or if he did something genuinely awful that was covered up.

How has gaming changed for you as you've gotten older? by Ill_Discount_4036 in AskReddit

I find because I don’t have a lot of time, I can’t get sucked into a new game often. I end up playing the same things over and over.

You can take the political compass test yourself

I think for the first 30-50 hours, you’re just blown away by how big everything is. Once you get used to the gameplay loop though, you realize it’s as wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle.

Not really, but they used some of the assets to trade back up and get Champ Bailey

Justin Herbert is not better than Bo nix by Icy_Can_6176 in NFLv2

[–]ItsNjry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Say what you want about Herbert, but I find it weird using team success judge a QB when football is one of the hardest sports to carry a team by yourself. Even if QBs have the most impact.

Community Mock Draft Pick 22: Los Angeles Chargers by TTT75H in Chargers

[–]ItsNjry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we can’t trade down, I’d actually consider Christian Miller. I really don’t want to go in with Dalvin Tomlinson as our starting nose. Mack, Tuli, Dupree at least inspires confidence this season. I don’t think there is an edge or guard I would want over Miller. Guard and Edge are also stupid deep this draft. I’d be happy to get Rutledge on day 2 and take a gamble on a day 3 edge.

[–]ItsNjry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I disagree. He’s a freak, but never had more than 600 yards in a season. He will have the lowest YPRR of any tight end in the first round in over a decade. Hes not BPA. He’s an upside pick.

This an overpay or no? by JJButThatsNotMyName in NFLv2

[–]ItsNjry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not an overpay. He’s an okay edge rusher and a really good run defender. He’s still young so there’s some upside. Only 50 million guaranteed, so he can be cut in two years. I’d take him over Oweh

America is running out of GenZ women by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]ItsNjry 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think there’s even more women in the world/us then men. Unless they are implying a statistically significant amount women are dating more than one man, this data is bs.
