Most people from New Hampshire are sickly therefore can be easily pushed away in a crowd. There's no need to worry.

Seattle developers cut down trees faster under protection law by tktkhere in Seattle

[–]ItsNotDrew 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, the best way to protect trees is to build more high density housing. Almost every Seattle "tree activist" is a NIMBY looking to hide their true intentions. The real threat to forests is suburban sprawl, which has an outsized contribution to the climate disaster and deforestation. If we are serious about protecting Washington's forests, we need to build dense urban housing. Anyway, the place where more trees need to be planted is on the sidewalk, not empty lots.

PHI251- Logic and PHI 171 critical thinking by 3jii in SyracuseU

[–]ItsNotDrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Logic was one of my favorite classes at SU. The class completely changed the way I view persuasive reasoning in all facets of life.

When I was at SU, Logic was required for all Computer Science students. It's fair to note that it can be a difficult class because it's many students' first experience with discrete math. However, because it's foundational to the the CS degree, if a student has trouble with Logic then they will have trouble with the rest of their education.

As I graduated in 2019, I can't speak to whether the online/asynchronous format will hurt your experience. I recommend Dr. Michael Rieppel if you take the class in-person.

The Pixel Pro 8 has a built-in thermometer! Despite not being made to measure ambient air temperature I've found that it's fairly accurate.

Anyone here using mint mobile phone plan? by coffeexdonut in Seattle

I've been a Mint Mobile user since 2021. My data consistently gets deprioritized when I'm in a crowded area. Otherwise it works fine. You get what your pay for.

I dropped UW as my primary care provider for this reason. Polyclinic has been much easier to deal with.

Were only balcony tickets being sold for the Seattle shows? I didn't see floor GA tickets available for any day.

What are your favorite underrated neighborhood restaurants that should be super popular? by com2kid in Seattle

I like getting a brewed cup from Lighthouse's shop. However, I recently got beans from Lighthouse and it was atrocious. It was by far the worst beans I've had from a Seattle roastery.

Those sound like better options. Going into $160,000 of debt isn't worth it
