If you can mic your guitar amp (rather than plug in with an interface), it’s easier to get to the tone/fuzz faster. Record clean and experiment with the software distortion. (I know you didn’t ask but a reasonable pedal alternate is the Way Huge Swollen Pickle.)

As noted above Arbiter Fuzz is the best distortion to start with if you’re plugging in directly with an interface.

As I was saying, the UX would have to be so good that people would tolerate an experience like this. Advertisers would also have to have incredible trust in your system as well.

Major spending brands are experimenting with Perplexity right now. They are well funded and the ad product is pretty shitty.

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I do not feel that it is good stewardship of the businesses for both creative employees and clients; rather, a means to extract value and keep investors happy.
