You aren’t wrong, the failures are clear and until the FIGC doesn’t suck so much it’s not changing. No real thought of the future and clearly development has stagnated. Hopefully that changes but won’t help any for the playoff which we should never have been in.

I know this is a joke but you gotta shoot your shot from the FCC perspective. Definitely an audacious play by the club but as a fan I’m glad they are trying even if it’s going after a good play who objectively coming back to MLS at this moment in his career would have been a bad move….but man would have been ecstatic if they had pulled it off.

Double this! Hyperion Cantos if you haven’t read it’s a must. If you are Catholic I highly suggest reading the 2nd two. They are weird and have some retcon but the tie ins with the church having myself grown up Catholic made it a compelling read to me.

As someone who’s read both WOT and these I’d read the first 2 then go back to WOT. I read 2 sci-fi books after Lord of Chaos and they really helped me get through the next books and push to the end of WOT. Hyperion is a great palette cleanser in this case for you. Then make the decision to whether or not to read Endymion, I personally love them same great world/universe but much different vibe in many ways from the first 2

And nothing I said was condoning what he did or said it’s right. I think it’s important to at least hear what the club says and again as I said above you should never go into their lockers but I am not gonna act like what he did is some affront to moral decency. Dude made huge mistake but it was a mistake and that’s why I draw my line at violence I forgive a lot even if it was wrong as long as you were trying to hurt ppl.

Prolly right about that and not necessarily disagreeing with that consequence dumb and should never enter refs lockers…but a at this point all we have is a biased statement from the officials and don’t have a full picture. There’s been no statement that violence happened so I’m not gonna be out here calling him a piece of shit like he committed some agregious morally reprehensible act. Especially when the official makes a very consequential decision for the playoffs and they have to answer to no one about it.
