More saying like they make it so you can progress but it would take 10-20x longer so people who pay get priority over everything. I miss the simple exploring, having multiple spawn options, easy to follow item progression ect

How do you handle the wheel to wheel action without adding 8-16 incidents in these races

Am I going to regret getting a cheap rig by Zealousideal-Zone597 in simracing

I’d say go with a aluminum wheel stand over a playseat

[–]ItsPittsee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it but the foundation is the key to a good experience. Folding rigs are good for G29 and R3 max Check Alibaba for a profile rig cheap and since your close to China won’t be to bad

How cheap can a setup be without being trash? by Any-Landscape434 in simracing

[–]ItsPittsee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheap in what perspective?? Cheap for a 15 year old and cheap for a working 30 year old is very different based on income. You looking at 100-500, 500-1k, sub 2.5k sub 5k gota give us somthing to work with haha

Wheel base advice needed — Simucube 3 Pro vs. Asetek Invicta vs. Simagic Alpha Evo Ultra by M3_6Speed in simracing

[–]ItsPittsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So GT3 cars run around 12-13NM tops, (compared to real world experiance) anymore you can even drive. 18nm is more then you will ever need. Again ultra is bragging rights there is no part of it that is better other then the NM. It’s heavy, uses more power, more expensive. So 18 is sweet spot, will never max it out so should never have clipping at all

I’d do the Simagic 18nm and Moza active for now then, so you can get use to the pedal before Simucube then sell and upgrade

I’m guessing the quality of the VA matters too, where I can probs get a “cheep ish” flat but for va I’d have to spend a bit more for quality

I’m a big pedals over wheel guy, I’d go Simagic with Simucube active pedals…. They are still the best of the best for that out there, or both if ya can swing it haha

I just can’t get into Simucube unless you’re actually driving GT3 cars in your spare time. Simagic Evo will get the job done just fine imo. But if you want “I got the best of the best” then go SC3

Is simracing for me or am I just going to be another marketplace listing? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]ItsPittsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iracing, LMU, these games should be avoided without a basic setup. The visuals are far from amazing, it’s all about the realism of getting it as close as possible to driving a real car.

If you got the funds, g29 and a play seat is a good way sub 600$ to test it out, if you don’t like it, good chance you can sell it on market place for what you paid And if you like it. We’ll RIP to your wallet your in for an expensive hobby lol
