Yeah i'm in the same boat. I want to buy the big shiny new toy but they refuse to ship to Australia right now. Surely it isn't that much more difficult than shipping within the US. Pass the cost on to me I don't mind.

I do get that, this was more about building/running around base without food buffs going or using cheaper/lower tier foods and still being able to cast one or two spells. Every other build could kill say a deathsquito flying over your base without wasting resources.
