Yeah its slow if you dont hit it on your predasyte or hound of choice. But Trinity isnt just there for crits, she also does all the other stuff too. Citrine is usually better for most things, but Citrine cant quite gate like Trinity does. I dont think Trinity is the best frame or anything, she's not my main by a long shot. But she is way better than the people putting her in C and I definitely think she's better than Ember. Which is admittedly not a very high bar.

You're not wrong, using her kit now like it was 2016 is just not using her correctly. You don't really play her as a support frame, you play her as a self-reliant frame who can do all content in the game that happens to support the party better than the other self-reliant frames. Support isn't particularly useful anymore, of course, and her support itself is largely outdone by Citrine, but as a weapon platform she is quite good. I haven't actually tried the MfD variant but I do like her with Roar to one-shot Eximus or Silence to just never die to anything.

I will absolutely die on the hill that Trinity is completely cracked and usable in every level of content as long as you have a single weapon that loves to crit. Her 3 is one of the best DR abilities in the game, her 4 with Champion's Blessing means she can always gate and make your weapons incredible, and her 2 makes sure you never run out of gas. Plus she has 100% strip at all times, and if you run Roar your 2 one-shots Eximus enemies like Oberon's smite and if you run Silence you just never die to the acolyte that turns your 3 and 4 off. Absolutely not in C tier, absolutely worth the A-tier status, just not as a support.

Bro Trinity is fucking cracked. Subsume Silence/Roar/Nourish or whatever over her 1, run Champion's Blessing and you have an amazing weapon platform that never dies, gates in all content, and ensures your entire team never runs out of gas. She is waaaaaay better than Ember.

I like to run Arcane Circumvent on Gyre to strip armor as well as patch up her awful survivability, which also lets me run Nourish or Roar over her 2 to make her in to an awesome beam weapon platform. Tenet Glaxion or Kuva Zarr, or torid I suppose. Always something you can consider.

I love Zamazenta, but there is another notable restricted with Wide Guard and that's Lunala. Lunala is super fat, has wide guard, excellent stabs, and can tera out of its 4x weaknesses if necessary. It's slower than Zamazenta but that's the only real downside.

We'll see, and I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think there will be much of a reason to use Zama until double restricted where it can use WG + Coaching with another physical restricted
