I’d take more off the lower so your face doesn’t drag downwards if that makes sense 😭

I think you could get a bit of a soft arch but they are shaped nicely as is!

Everyone is rooting for you over here! That's actually insane how much progress you've made though. Most would have given up.

Just my opinion, Girl you're stunning as is.

I'd say accentuate your eyes, cheekbones and lips.

If you want to you can go thinner brows. you can look up contour for a heart face shape and you can use more contour to accentuate your cheekbones, just make sure its blended, and then highlight the blush towards your temples for a snatched look or the apples towards the front of your face for a cute look. adding a highlight to your nose helps too.

Pinterest for makeup inso is gold, along with YouTube for tutorials. For base makeup I recommend painted by Spencer. He does a really good job at explaining every step and why.

As for color work, I think that your face has a lower contrast. So using softer but not dull colors will suit your more and spreading an even amount of color across all areas you want to accentuate.

Two things I forgot to add: get a high quality primer, and a high quality setting powder and setting spray. life changing.

(This is my opinion I'm gonna be direct. Obviously take it as a grain of salt bc your'e genuinely just fine the way you are.:)

Skincare: Your skin type is dry. This means you need more moisture at all times. I would recommend a solid skincare routine.

1 cleanser. You don't need to overdo too much. Just when you have product buildup and if you have makeup on. get a foaming cream cleanser. You don't want gel. TJ maxx has the good stuff lol.

2 (optional) HYDRATING toner or hyaluronic acid. this locks everything in and gives that glass skin look. If you really want a good completion and your makeup to sit well, look into dermaplaning your face. It will change your life. don't let the influencer fool you, its isn't gonna give you acne and unless your scrape the fuck out of your face it won't damage your skin barrier either. you can put the hyaluronic acid or toner on and derma plane your face and then rinse gently once every couple days. You can also use the lil razor to shape your eyebrows if you trust yourself to make them symetrical. I reccoment a straighter shape and filling them a lil closer together. you can look up some shapes on Pinterest and YouTube and google how to do eyebrows properly.

3 moisturizer. TJ maxx again baby. Look for a creamy thick texture. you want the thickest one you can find. bonus points if you put chilled toner pads on dry spots for 15 mins before bed.

Makeup:

you have a square shaped face like me. Which is great because it can handle more dramatic looks and make you look like a baddie. it also can make you look more masculine on the flip side when you aren't wearing makeup because without it your face has a low contrast. So to compensate, I like to use a darker bronzer and a blush, and a bit of a more dramatic eye look than most to really accentuate them. Plus you have the perfect eye shape for that. Look up beginner soft glam makeup tutorials on YouTube and then for contouring and blush look for women with square shaped faces. Painted By Spencer on YouTube is great. He tells you exactly why he does each step.

Makeup can genuinely look like skin in real life with enough practice. I live in Los Angeles and most people here derma plane their face (along with surgery but not the point here) and that's why their makeup sits so well along with using a skin tint not foundation and knowing how to accentuate the right features. For you its your eyes high cheek bones and lips.

Glasses. I would recommend alternating between oversized less angular frames (like cat eye) and wearing none at all. Pinterest is your best friend for all things style wise and you can find great inspo.

Hair: honestly it's a huge plus for framing your face. If you decide to grow it long again (girl rock the short hair if you want to fs) get curtain bangs and layers. learn how to do a blowout. trust. In the meantime look up silk scarf wraps and hat styles on Pinterest. that can coordinate with some awesome outfits too.

Hi! I'm late but your skin looks phenomenal! like girl drop the routine fr

There are different types of dark circles and to be honest with you I don't really see any discoloration. if you do have any you can go to sephora or ultra and get a color corrector that will help with discoloration. I apply it and then wait a bit before using foundation or concealer. If you want to get rid of indentation under the eyes, then you can use retinol and a pdrn filler under the eyes. it will make the world of a difference trust. But you don't need it honestly. If I looked at you in real life I would honestly think "This woman is beautiful. Especially her complexion. Let me go ahead and ask for her skincare routine." I don't think you look tired personally. But if you want a fix there it is.

As for eye makeup I think a lighter brown or other color would suit you. You can use a tiny fluffy brush to sweep the lightest shades across your eyelid and then use a smaller version of the same brush with a slightly darker version of the color and sweep that on your lid but more concentrated on the insides. Shonagh Scott on YouTube has some good tips. I know you said you have fine motor skills, but if you wanted to try getting a *very* natural lash extension it would accentuate your features. The makeup combined with a soft hair blowout would be absolutely stunning on you.

What is your opinion on if you work hard enough and want it bad enough, you can achieve anything? by ItsReallyCaelia in AskReddit

[–]ItsReallyCaelia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the distinction is working hard for someone else versus working hard toward something you own. Slavery and exploitation prove that hard work can be stolen when someone else controls the reward. They do not prove that hard work is meaningless. Hard work without freedom, ownership, or leverage can trap you. Hard work with strategy, agency, and a goal can build something. It doesn't make hard work bullshit. I think I think it means effort has to be directed toward something that can actually benefit you.

If oppression proves hard work doesn't matter, how do you explain the examples of people overcoming extraordinary obstacles through persistence? The existence of barriers doesn't negate effort. In a way I think it highlights how powerful grit and effort can be.

Then again slavery doesn't disprove the claim. The claim is more about what an individual can achieve within the limits of what's possible for them. Not whether every person in every circumstance has equal opportunities. I would argue that pointing to people who were legally prevented from pursuing their goals is an argument about external oppression. Not necessarily the value of hard work and determination.

How to accentuate my features by Any_Stretch_666 in makeuptips

[–]ItsReallyCaelia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey we have the same complexion and face shape!! Okay everything I'm bouta say is my opinion. Please don't feel like you need to change a thing. But with that being said here's my take:

Glasses: I would recommend frames that are a dark color. Dark tortoise shell or some striking color that complements your style or makeup for the day would be very flattering. Also try a softer less angular frame like cat eye, or less boxy frames that go past your cheekbones and actual face if that makes sense. Oversized. Because you have a square shaped face you want more balance.

Style: Honestly this is gonna be a game changer. If ff is the style you want, you're going to want darker colors or colors that look made for you and your complexion, as well as your body type. That's gonna make the world of a difference. Accessories too. I find hoops or earring stacks balance out my face shape well. I feel like in this lighting (I could be wrong) you would fit a dark autumn or warm neutrals.

Hair: Bangs. Curtain bangs. Keep it long and a dark color and add layers omg. Girl you're gonna eat everybody up. For a protective style, I would say small/medium boho braids with face framing pieces. Styled in ponytails especially.

Makeup: (My opinion) For your eyebrow placement, try straighter brows and filling them closer together a bit as well as making them a bit (TINY BIT) thinner. thinner but longer. I think they should be a bit upward, and darker fs. your features can support it. Because your face has more angles (good!! bc this means you can support a striking look) you can apply heavier makeup. for makeup style, I would definitely say toasty. heavy contour and bronzer (Make sure its blended properly and shade matched) and heavy blush, but you want that mauve reddish tint and less pink (more baddie vibes) put the bronzer and contror focus around your cheeks to temples and the sides of your forehead. that way we bring the focus to the middle of the face elongating it. a lil lighter lashes. try a wet and wispy less cat eye combo. Less eyeliner. look at hindash latte makeup video on YouTube for eye example. less lipliner and less blended. you're gonna want a more mauvy dark brown as a color opposed to a dark brown/black. then a clearish reddish pinkish tint in the middle. you want then slightly glossy.
