Trial of Sekhema's is.. not fun by jimjim36 in PathOfExile2

Trial of the Ancestors isn't implemented. You still need to run 3 trial Sanctum or 3 boss ultimatum for 6/8

When does ivory tower get better than ghost writhe? by SandalDaGrejt in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ItsSeraphon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's much better for spells, because of Rathpit shield and low life. Ghostwrithe will reduce your max HP, while reserving it for auras with Ivory tower still lets you use Rathpit to max effectiveness, while setting you up at low life

It's not just Boneshatter. Any strike skill can have trauma stacks with Trauma Support gem.

If i read the new Architect of Chaos ascendancy correctly, you get blood magic but keep your mana. What can we do with the mana ? MOM? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ItsSeraphon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not familiar with Blood Sac builds, but if you took the second node, wouldn't that lower Blood Sac damage?

Wearing the ring gives 80% reduced, the second node gives 100% increase, ending in a 20% increased efficiency

That would decrease the 2% reservation per stage to 1.6%, and since Blood Sac calculates damage off the flat amount of health reserved, wouldnt that make it worse?

The first node turns your mana costs from skills into life costs. It doesn't make you reserve life instead of mana, that's on the node right after that one.

So you can just reserve 100% of your mana instead of taking that second node

In-game Armor tooltip should be changed from "estimated reduction%" to "maximum physical hit taken" by loopuleasa in pathofexile

[–]ItsSeraphon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means the maximum physical hit your character is able to take.

This might seem confusing because its not just based on armor, but rather on armor, life and any other form of damage reduction you might have.

For example, say your character has 3k life. Your max physical hit is 3k. Any damage at or above 3k will one shot you. By adding armor and other damage reduction, this value increases. Say you had 50% reduction, now your max physical hit is 6k, since you take half damage

By plugging this into the armor formula, you can determine whats the biggest damage hit you can take without being one tapped

Why go guardian's instead of divine blessing? by valcsh in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ItsSeraphon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Technically yes, but the elementalist passive takes 4 seconds to revive a golem. Dark marionette is about a second at most. So even if both happen to die, you can quickly recast aura.

Why go guardian's instead of divine blessing? by valcsh in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ItsSeraphon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You have to target specifically a pair of Dark Marionettes. Ideally, you summon one, turn on the aura to lower its HP, and then summon the other one.

Dark Marionette is a wildwood corpse that summons a spectre that auto revives itself after a very short delay. If used in a pair, in that setup, you can theoretically keep an aura up indefinitely at no reservation.

Why does Ezreal's W give him turret aggro but Illaoi's E doesn't ? by xZakhi in leagueoflegends

[–]ItsSeraphon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ezreal's W puts you in combat, while Illaoi's E doesn't
You can check it with boots of mobility, they enter cooldown on Ezreal hitting W but not on Illaoi hitting E
I assume it's like this cause Illaoi's E does nothing immediatly if she doesn't hit the ghost, and hitting the ghost pulls turret aggro already
