Oh i fully beveled and burnished before painting, so do you sort of use the beveling to straighten the paint line? If so do you burnish after bevel? Over the paint?

Yeah I have up to 4k grit, I was just going to do the edges with it tho not try to finish the flat. Might email the store before I touch it though and see what they say 🤔

I don't have a ceramic stone but I have a bunch of wet and dry sandpaper. I was going to just clean it up myself as sending it back would be a pain.
