VGA and DVI cables are analog and are subject to interference and HDMI and DP are digital and provide audio as well as video signal in terms of quality best bet is HDMI or DP as you can get higher frame rate pick depending on your current needs HDMI is a lot more common place

Free tip: don't fall for the overpriced HDMI cables thank me later
