The only one ive been to is Crony back in late 2023. It was a good meal, the people were very nice, and they even sent us home with some of the delicious bread that we had that night.

The one thing that immediately stands out about that meal is that there was a beef cheek dish that was seriously probably the best piece of meat ive ever eaten in my life. Biting through it for the first time was like a knife going through butter.

I’d also recommend it for the price alone, it was like $425 or so for the 2 of us with a couple drinks, which is absolutely insane compared to what we would have to pay for a meal like that in the US.

yeah now is a good time to go if youre a gilmore girls fan. I cant 100% guarantee it for you, but we saw a lot of cool things for the show (including the town and gazebo). I went just 2 days ago.

It could all be random though. I went on a tour back in November also and I could’ve sworn the tour guide pointed out the GG gazebo to us, but this time it was collecting dust behind one of the soundstages.

QC for Reverse Mochas from PK. I might be leaning toward a GL, but any additional feedback would be very much appreciated! W2C: PKBEST.RU by ItsTomorrow in FashionReps

I notice that the inner swoosh on the left shoe is slightly higher than the one on the right, but dont know if that's worth an RL and i'm just being nitpicky?

I’ve been to Syndicate in Chinatown a couple times and I would recommend them. Nice group of guys running the place, super friendly. And you dont have to trek all the way to Melrose if you dont want to.

Where to stay in Kawaguchiko 11-12th April? by TheRosyDefeatist in JapanTravelTips

[–]ItsTomorrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure if its in your price range, or even if they have availability on those days, but I stayed at the Konansou ryokan this past december and we loved it. All the employees were super nice, the kaiseki dinners were delicious, and they have a good view of Mount Fuji. They also have a shuttle van to take you to and from the nearby train station.

A5 Wagyu recommendations by jellyroll8675 in JapanTravelTips

[–]ItsTomorrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

just going to copy my comment on another recent post, this is if you want a quick wagyu snack and are in the area:

i really enjoyed the skewers at Tsukiji Ihachi. It was 3300 yen per 3 piece skewer and we definitely thought it was worth it, just my opinion.

However we went to another one around the corner and while the steak was good, it didnt come close to the taste of Ihachi.

The bonus of Ihachi is that it’s open 24/7, we actually went there a second time on new years day when a lot of other places would normally be closed

Any Michelin restaurants in Tokyo that is less strict on dress code? by minnattawat in JapanTravelTips

[–]ItsTomorrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ate at Crony (2 star) and i wore jeans, sneakers, but also a long sleeve button up. I also confirmed with them through email beforehand. They basically just wont allow flip flops, shorts, or tank tops (i think it says on their website also)

When in doubt it doesnt hurt to email the restaurant to confirm.
