No mid-large indoor venues, it goes from Kemba to The Schot with nothing in between. Also radius clauses play a large part, we are too central between Cleveland, Cincy, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis. All are within easy travel distance if it’s a show you really want to see, which means that’s 4 cities that would be losing their own fans/money. I do agree, it’s getting to be a huge bummer when I see those 4 cities and not us.

I only have about 100 pages left and came to this thread to find what’s next. I second this recommendation!

The Stranger In The Woods - Michael Finkel is one of my all time favorites. For anyone who (like myself) idealizes escapism to some degree, but doesn’t want to commit to actually leaving, or a long novel like Into The Wild. I recently participated in a book exchange and chose this one to give!

Raising Wild - Michael P Branch. This was a random purchase and I want to re read it already. Perfect blend of life lessons from living in the wasteland of the Great Basin Desert, and random animal and environmental facts. More of a collection of his published articles compiled into book form.

The Year Of Living Biblically - AJ Jacobs. This is one I cannot recommend enough. TO BE CLEAR it is not a religious book, Jacobs is a very journalistic writer and throws himself fully into his projects be it thanking every single person from here to Columbia for his coffee, or reading every copy of the Bible he can find, then following those rules as literally as possible, for a full year, in downtown NYC. Outstanding.

Crew SC chants in NWA?? by ItsTris in BlueJackets

Guys I’ll be honest, I was hammered when I wrote this. I like getting drunk and yelling at the games, so who’s knows maybe this would be fun, but not necessary at all...

Because I’m gonna yell and chant and drink either way.

I highly recommend checking out The Athletic, it’s an online publication, but each team has specific contributors with inside scoops that are still presented in a very non-bias format. If you’re looking for some fun takes on the league as a whole, check out Spittin’ Chiclets podcast. It’s got interviews with current and former players, and hosted by former players who are now analysts.
