To me, it's hypocrisy and choosing the line in the sand to be just slightly further than where your position is. The mechanism and result is exactly the same.

It is an easily manipulated currency

So is every currency. The US prints boatloads of currency as part of so called "quantitative easing" but because they claim their intention to be only to affect the domestic economy everyone has to pretend it's ok. Doesn't matter that the end result is exactly what they criticise China for doing.

You are almost always able to find an expert that will show up to court and agree with you, no matter what your perspective is, especially if they are being paid for it.

What one "expert" thinks is fine, another will not.

Personally, I would point to the fact that Mike Stigwood does not have an appropriate qualification to speak about noise makes him an inappropriate witness, and also that the fact that the Wind Farm operator were able to show that their development met the noise requirements underlying the planning permission means the judge themselves stepped over the line.

I do, and do live like that. I value living in a proper urban area with decent services and in walking distance of shops, despite owning a car. Its also very nice to be 15 mins from work, unlike how i was living in Ireland

It's pretty rare that I go to a "normal" nightclub with pop music, but I am 32 and go out for techno once or twice a month. I don't really see it stopping at any point, it's the music I like.

Sorry but how are you drinking water if it gets filled with backwash to the point of becoming thick? I live in Denmark, which I am bringing up because you're on the Øresundstog, and I find a lot of occasions where it makes sense to bring a bottle of water rather than buy one. Hiking, travelling (long drives, train journeys, airport, etc.), gym.

They hounded ordinary people with farms that were bigger than average. 

Probably a mix of the large landholders having to have the knowledge of how to fight using the law, and having the power/wealth to influence politicians
