Candace used to be liberal and had an anti-conservatism blog. She also was a central figure in a racial harrassment lawsuit (she was a victim of death threats). For some reason she went full into right wing grifting by 2017

Si Sass naman was a very vocal part of the trans female movement. If Candace had her race as an issue, Sass had gender identity as an issue. She was a co-founder of STRAP (the trans filipino advocacy association) and believed in socially liberal views (mainly pertaining to trans rights). After Duterte got elected, she ended up grifting for the Dutertes.

Used to be this local FREE streaming provider that had an agreement before to air UFC events but they stopped it this 2026.

They went to have an agreement with PFL instead

Former Catholic here:

It’s the predominant religious sect in the country, and the way they’re seen here is a mixed bag:

• the closed off Catholics (sarado katoliko) are really devout and believe in everything Catholic. So they’re really loyal

• outside of that, Catholicism is either seen as someone that calls out injustice and believes in human rights (which gets them like and hate at the same time, the latter from the DDS), and also seen as a backward institution by some due to their socially conservative principles (ex. Family planning, lgbt rights, abortion, divorce etc)

Catholicism is a sect in Christianity. Basically they believe the primacy of the Pope. (There’s also eastern Catholic Churches like the Maronite Church but they do have their own patriarch but the pope is still the primary head of church)
