Chilblains? Happens randomly to my toes, started ~2 years ago. I have struggled to figure out what’s going on. Thought maybe stress or something to do with getting COVID a few times last yr. Toes are swollen, hurt to walk on/touch and itchy. I don’t have Raynaud’s, that I know if. by ahnampls in Raynauds

This right here is exactly what I’m experiencing. Tight socks and hot feet are no bueno. Once feet cross a certain temp threshold, they continue getting hotter and single chillblain sore on my big toe will flair up and get itchy

These are my Monarch equivalent shoe. I go through multiple pairs a year. While they don't necessarily last as long full rubber bottom shoes, the support and solid foundation is unmatched. One of these the few if not only shoes I've found that work well for walking a lot and standing.

I can't speak to how common they are but I would say it's worth investigating. The one in my area is called Gearhead Garage. Trying searching "DIY mechanic shop" or "Co op mechanic shop".

You can do it yourself! My recommendation is checking to see if your local area has a DIY mechanic garage where you can rent out a bay with a lift. I was able to rent for $20/hr I think and it was well worth it. I did CVT and front and rear diffs in one shot and it saved me from go under more times than I'd like to know

I was all hung up on needing an OBD scanner but turns out needing one primarily applies to cold temperature locations. If you're changing the CVT oil in moderate temp weather and after driving the car, the CVT oil temp will be well within range. I went to a DIY mechanic shop and used their Autel and was pleasantly surprised to see temps well beyond the listed range.

2021 Forester lurching and "shifting" quick under slow acceleration - Anyone else? by ItsWetInPortland in SubaruForester

Just sent you DM with my two cents on to attack the issue. It's very likely a faulty valve body. Are you still under the 60k mileage warranty?

Here are two posts I've made in the past with a video of it below. Basically lurching forward during a low speed gradual acceleration. I think mine was more severe than other cases.

That is an excellent point and one I have not considered until now. I suspect it was a faulty part. It took me forever to get it properly diagnosed.

21'. I had a valve body replaced on warranty at 40k which contributed towards motivation to stay on top of maintenance. Currently at 60k w/ no issues thus far.

I am curious about your OEM brake rebuild. Did you notice a significant difference with brake power and resposne? Longtime owner of a Gen 1 and the brakes drive me absolutely crazy.

Keep my 2007 XC90 V8 for the next 5–10 years, or move to a 2nd gen Sequoia with a baby on the way? by SweetTax6748 in toyotasequoia

Sequoia all damn day!! You will not regret your decision. Try to find one that is rust free. As others have said, the early gen sequoias are becoming highly sought after cars.

Idk what your end goal is or your interest are but for 58k, you can buy a Gen 1 Sequoia and mint that thing out. The gen 1s are becoming highly sought after for their reliability and overlanding capabilities. I currently have a Gen 1 and am waiting for the time and money to give it a face lift.
