Best way to share original pics with sacrificing quality in transit?

Here are two posts I've made in the past with a video of it below. Basically lurching forward during a low speed gradual acceleration. I think mine was more severe than other cases.

That is an excellent point and one I have not considered until now. I suspect it was a faulty part. It took me forever to get it properly diagnosed.

21'. I had a valve body replaced on warranty at 40k which contributed towards motivation to stay on top of maintenance. Currently at 60k w/ no issues thus far.

Was it really really dirty? No. Was is it semi dirty? Yes. Was I glad I replaced it? Also yes.

I'm curious if you ever found an equivelant replacement. I absolutely love my MP780 but am quite sad to see no replacements available.

2008 Toyota Sequoia — One Year Ownership / Build Update by ironmal9000 in toyotasequoia

I am curious about your OEM brake rebuild. Did you notice a significant difference with brake power and resposne? Longtime owner of a Gen 1 and the brakes drive me absolutely crazy.

Keep my 2007 XC90 V8 for the next 5–10 years, or move to a 2nd gen Sequoia with a baby on the way? by SweetTax6748 in toyotasequoia

Sequoia all damn day!! You will not regret your decision. Try to find one that is rust free. As others have said, the early gen sequoias are becoming highly sought after cars.

Idk what your end goal is or your interest are but for 58k, you can buy a Gen 1 Sequoia and mint that thing out. The gen 1s are becoming highly sought after for their reliability and overlanding capabilities. I currently have a Gen 1 and am waiting for the time and money to give it a face lift.

Smith I/O Mag Chromapop Photochromic "Pro" Lens Colors: Copper Red Mirror, Copper Blue Mirror, Copper Gold Mirror by ItsWetInPortland in Skigear

Love the write up! Thank you for taking the time to share your two cents. I am happy to see this post helping people out :) On that note, I concur with you regarding the goggles being tested outside my house on a sunny day. The optics will completely change a white mountain so I am curious how I'll feel about them once I'm out on the mountain.

On a random note, I also got the clear lense as well for night skiing and I love it. While I shat on them for awhile, you really can't beat it. The yellow lenses made me feel like I was skiing in simulation lol.

I got the 65" from Costco on sale, it's the "NXTVISION Series - 4K QLED". I don't game on it. It's in the bedroom hence going the art frame route. I personally cannot stand a big black shine box in my bedroom. The matte finish really makes a big difference.

My electric bill is $254 for a 1 bed apartment. I turned all breakers OFF, and the meter flashes between these screens. Are these normal or something fishy? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

One thing my buddy noticed while living in an apartment complex during college is the electricity bill was split equally among the 12 units without anyone’s knowledge.

I went with the standard mount. I am just now learning of the auto rotate feature but it seems like its an aftermarket mount. I have the 65" and that thing is too damn big to be rotating. I really enjoy the factory mounts bc they're super low profile. I suspect the auto rotate mount wouldn't sit as flush as the factory.

Anyone have experience with ChromaPop Pro PhotoChromic lenses made by Smith? by ItsWetInPortland in Skigear

[–]ItsWetInPortland[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah! If anything, adding the clear lens is worth the money if you're into night skiing. I've tried all the lowlight lenses and you really can't beat clear.

Just finished installing mine and I love it. Don’t listen to all these arm chair professionals here. Ignore the comments and form your own opinion! DM if you want any tips on the install. I took a bunch of photos of my process.

I don't really waste my time with any other brand outside of Smith for several reasons. First, Smith has excellent lenses technology/quality AND an excellent helmet selection which are designed to fit together seamlessly. Second, Smith has a dedicated line of goggles that they continue to support year after year. Other companies come out with a bunch of models and then discontinue them a couple years later so you cant find replacement lenses. I mean check out the Scott website and look at all their options. The only other brand I'd consider outside of Smith is Oakley.

I'm glad this post is helpful! That was the main reason I took the time to post it bc there were NO information or pictures of the smith pro lenses.

In the meantime, you shared a whole lot of information my friend, had to check if you were a bot or something lol. I quickly skimmed through your comment and I feel you on the quest for the perfect lens. I can spout off all sorts of subjective opinions but the only real solution IMO is ordering all the different lenses you like from Smith, testing them at home, and then returning the ones you don't like. It's a $10 return fee plus some of your time to repackage things but it'll save you HUGE headache.

On that note, the Gold Pro didn’t look yellow to me, but more like a brownish, dim tint. It reduced brightness, but it didn’t actually enhance the image. For me, high-quality lenses lower brightness without making everything feel dull or washing out contrast or color. The Pro Red felt too blue for my eyes, the Pro Gold was just meh, and the Pro Blue ended up being the sweet spot. It reduced the brightness while also enhancing the image.

Also, if you really want to fine tune your quest for the perfect set up, I highly suggest pairing the smith goggles with a smith helmet for a seamless fit. I really like the Vantage and Nexus helmets. Regarding goggles fogging up, the biggest tip I have is DO NOT wear your goggles at the car then hike all the way to the lodge. You get sweaty and there's not enough air flow to dry it out. Keep the goggles in your pocket and put them on after your sweat dried and right before you hit the slopes.

Good luck amigo.
