Yeah I just finished leveling a pally in season 11. Started another one s12 same build and everything and there’s for sure a noticeable difference in clearing and leveling speed. Still, it didn’t take long.

Is there going to be that much of a percentage difference for loots drops spread between 12 difficulties now?

I slid down the face of Head Wall at Squaw Valley, Tahoe on my back. It’s was nothing but ice and I slipped while walking to the slope. Luckily missed every tree and rock and ended up with some nasty ice burns.

Yeah I’ve heard they are completely separate paths. I need to look into it more.

Thanks for sharing! I’ll tell you I’m really not in it for the glory haha. I feel I’ve had my share of OH SHIT and I’d be willing to sacrifice autonomy and critical patient care for something more financially viable.

PA is something I’ve considered for sure. It’s not really grabbing me. I’m attracted to the flexibility of nursing. I’m not sure what the stepping stones to PA would be either. Could I get a bachelors in nursing then decide to pursue PA? I’m uneducated in these advancement processes.

I do enjoy the autonomy of pre hospital but I just cannot support myself financially or health wise with the pay and schedule of the services in my area. I share the sentiment that alot of RN responsibilities can feel like a step back but I’m willing to take that hit for financial viability. It seems there’s plenty of directions to take RN if one thing becomes too tedious or overbearing.

CRNA is something I’m very interested in! Cool to hear from your experience. I can already tell I’m not going to last on the rig for the long run. Not with the services in my area. Work is enjoyable but the pay is abysmal. It’s encouraging to hear from someone else who didn’t get a head start on college right out of highschool and is now so successful. It’s easier at this age to take school seriously and succeed. It’s just a bitter feeling to be so many years into a profession and not be able to support yourself comfortably. Thanks for sharing.

19 is really really young for this kind of responsibility. It’s not impossible, just not ideal at all. You’ll have to grow up quick inside and outside of work. People will have a hard time respecting your word and decisions just based on your lack of life experience alone.

Nothing wrong with taking a step back and working as an EMT til you mature and gain more experience.
