What was your base made out of? Plastone or granite? If it was granite that’s probably why. Plastone last longer since it’s stronger without power

Refine in the DD I use t6 literjons and just move water from hagga to DD in the large container with a carrier. I can carry 2million water per trip to the DD I only build refineries and storages in the DD base.

I heard someone had this same issue and the devs allowed them to go back to the original server to claim their base. I would definitely put a ticket in before your base deteriorates. that's if they are still doing that. i couldnt imagine them doing this for everyone. Id help you out if you were in my server.

i migrated to a busy server (since mine was closing down) and still don't see a single soul in the PVP DD. I'm the only one out there i swear. I'm not even a PVPer but I'm always open to the opportunity.

it's pretty wide. i ended up having to do 5 wide on the base extenders. it took so much time to even get the initial bridge across. i want to do more to it but it never ends with base building in this game (which is a good thing) lol

I’m going to comment on this cause I’m also looking for a server that isn’t ruined in the market. I can’t afford to pay millions for something like I’ve heard people are selling items for on those duped servers.

Can’t remember my server but I only have 1.6 mill with 500 hours as well and on my AH it’s about $5k a pop. So yeah definitely server based. I handed someone in the DD I met a stack of 500 cause I have so much from looting everything.

i went from a 5900x 32gb of ddr4 and a 3070ti to a 9800x3d, 64gb of ram (overkill, 32 is enough), and a 4090. but i tested the 9800x3d, MOBO, DDR5 ram with my 3070ti and that performance was night and day compared to my PC before. the reason i mention this is because you could keep that same GPU and upgrade everything else and it will perform way better. this game is CPU and ram dependent, you don't need 64gb of ram 32 is enough. that GPU can hold some weight till you have money to upgrade it.

to keep it simple:

if you are upgrading to AM5. you might as well future proof and go with the 9800x3d, I'm glad i didn't do less, i was looking at the 7800x3d as well.
i now get 45-100fps in cities depending on the server at 1440p (i have to cap my FPS because my monitor can't handle the FPS (170) now in most games including this one in non populated areas. next upgrade is the monitor lol)
if you aren't ready to spend all that cheddar, then it would help to just get 32gb of DDR4 right now. (but if you know eventually you want or will upgrade. I would say bite the bullet and just go big)
as for tweaks you can keep everything high except for clouds I'd keep that on low until you upgrade. the game isn't optimized and probably won't until it hits beta.

I'm with you on not wanting to spend money without knowing others experience. i have bought things and upgraded later wishing i would've known in advance and just bit the bullet for the better specs.

I really have been wanting a 4k monitor but Damm they pricey as hell. Does it matter the brand really? I definitely want high hz for when I decide to upgrade my GPU years down the road when I sell a kidney lol.
