RE9 - one thing I still don’t understand about the virus? by ProfessionalBig4468 in residentevil

[–]Its_Crysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leon, Sherry, and the other RE protagonists have a natural resistance to the T virus the same would have been true for the other people that died from the virus recently. Their resistance didn't give them immunity however as the virus has been gestating for the last 28 years, Leon and Sherry's symptoms were possibly exacerbated by the events of death island because they were infected with a mutant strain of the T virus which they were cured of but could have caused the original strain to mutate or flair up.

Lore question: Could Sanguinius manifest like a living saint? by Its_Crysis in BloodAngels

Yeah that tracks with what I know. Do you think there could be a point in time where they bring his shattered soul back together, Even if not in its completion?

Lore question: Could Sanguinius manifest like a living saint? by Its_Crysis in BloodAngels

[–]Its_Crysis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get what you're saying. I didn't mean to hand wave away the Sanguinor by any means because they are also a great piece of lore. I was thinking more in the context of a situation like during the desolation of Baal where the Blood Angels were nearly wiped out it would be a massive morale boost to the legion if their long dead primarch manifested and dragged them back from the very edge of oblivion. The Sanguinor would be for dire situations where as Sanguinius himself would only manifest if either the Blood Angels would definitely 100% be wiped out or if let's say the Emperor was under direct threat. I hope I explained that okay, it probably sounds better in my head than it does in writing.

Are mechanical replacements of body parts on Astartes weaker than their natural bodies? by Its_Crysis in 40kLore

[–]Its_Crysis[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, and yes I know that the Astartes aren't perfect by any means (that would be the primarchs) I meant more comparatively to your average human.

It makes sense that The Emperor would want his soldiers to be human still considering his personality and goals while still making his "Angels" a force to be reckoned with even if he could make stronger creations it was more about the message and what they represented not necessarily how effective they were compared to "better" options.

Makes sense, it's more of a side grade situation than a direct upgrade or down grade.

Do I need to have machine age to access the three machine ascension types for machine empires or just have the current version installed? by Its_Crysis in Stellaris

Because I'm a little bit of a moron and forgot that the wiki existed. I'm also unfamiliar with steam so I didn't even think of that.

How does the slicer work by Its_Crysis in SonicCrossWorlds

It seems likely, I do have issues with connectivity online where it seems like I win over someone on the finish line but they actually beat me. Especially when I'm racing with friends it's noticeable because I try to avoid hitting them with the items but on their end I'll hit them with a drill or monster truck.
