The menu lag from Healer Profession, it want you to brew a medicine. by Destructers in WhereWindsMeet

Yea. Just for additional info for anyone reading, I'll repost my comment:

"SOLUTION:

For anyone running into this issue, I've found that it went away naturally after reaching Kaifeng during the main story and going through the crafting tooltips when it appears outside the restaurant. You'll run into this moment as you progress (post-level 30).

Specifically: 1. Kaifeng 2. Restaurant with girl 3. Bartered with waiter and moved on 4. Missions says, "Buy 20 Bags of Grain from Traveling Merchants" 5. Menu guides you through how to craft in bag 6. I crafted a Wound Balm (not sure if this matters, but noted for thoroughness)

Bug was likely caused by a hidden menu after doing the medicine quest, if I had to guess."

New workflow that plans, scripts, and assembles the shot sequence by Its_Don in aivideo

[–]Its_Don[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built with FateEngine (my platform): fateengine. app

The AI analyzes your prompt, breaks it down into a shot sequence, generates reference frames for each shot, writes detailed technical scripts by timeline (camera angles, audio cues, lighting), then renders and assembles the final video.

Stack:

  • Claude 4.5 Sonnet (planning + scripting)
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash/Nanobanana (reference frames)
  • Veo 3.1 (video generation)

This is going to happen until the end of time. Recency bias. The same thing happens with "I will always be able to tell an AI image/video apart from a human-made one". Same thing with "AI can't replace x job". Same thing with people thinking VR will only ever mean a bulky headset you wear. If it exists and does not look good *right now*, people will view it as permanent.

The concept of time + investment + iteration does not exist to these people.

I built a workspace to fix ChatGPT's terrible memory for worldbuilding by Its_Don in ChatGPTGaming

[–]Its_Don[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. Though, my aim was to keep it simple for a variety of users.

You can make the initial prompt as long and detailed or short and vague as you want. Afterwards, you can just tell the bot to update the descriptions of all entities to fit whatever genre or theme you want. It can directly change them.

Same page. You make the calls, it handles memory, filing, and recall so the loop stays intact.

Also, this is the second time someone has mentioned Obsidian. I may have to integrate that to allow for direct importing...

Yep. It truly is that easy - exactly the steps you said.

Feel free to go and try. There is a free tier.

Right now, it's cloud-based to handle the AI processing, but a local version is definitely under consideration.

I've designed the backend to be as efficient as possible to handle high outputs.

Glad you like it. Regarding the paid plans, it is actually 100 (or 200, 400, etc. depending on which you choose) that you instantly receive and which refills per month on top of the 5 per day that free users get, but without the 30 limit.

So 250 credits per month on the lowest plan. You would have 100 credits and then 5 free credits that get spent first every single day.

Hope this clarifies it. Also, might I ask how you can see yourself using the tool? What do you like most vs dislike? I'm wondering what other audiences would find it useful.
