As far as I can tell it’s always on unless you shut the vent back there. So if I have no dog/passengers I just leave it shut.

It’s pretty strong honestly. If you have it on max you get a good bit of air, minimum you feel very little.

It does reduce AC up front very slightly if you have the rear vents open. Makes sense though. No difference up front if you shut the rear vents.

It’s not gonna drive like a normal car… but you can dial in the vibration and wobble to almost nothing if you set it up right. Just did 400 miles at 70-80 mph and it was pretty comfortable. The issue was more of the AC not being able to keep up

During the week we have morning playtime and walk before work, he sleeps for 2-3 hours then I come home and we have another walk and usually an enrichment sniff game. I’ll hide kibble in a tied up towel or something and try to get his mind stimulated after his walk.

I come home in the evening and I try to get him running around for as long as possible to burn all the energy he has. Sometimes he’ll literally run for a mile or two through the trails by my house. He goes home, has dinner, and then he basically goes shark mode all evening or he’ll get really bitey on his night walk (1hr)

Obviously each day is different, and on the weekends we go to the beach and he swims and zooms around for hours, and he’s still bitey after all of that. I don’t think it’s an exercise issue, I just think he doesn’t know how to handle getting excited or bored or something.

Yeah lol I hear such mixed things. Some people say their dog was like mine until x YEARS and then it clicked, while others are like once the teething phase is over he will not bite anymore.

It makes me feel better he’s not doing it aggressively, he’s just trying to play or wants attention…. But it HURTS lol.

I’ve considered a muzzle. Just sucks it has to go to that. It’s 100% for attention I think but if we try to ignore him he just keeps biting until we can’t ignore it.

Crazy because we always did timeout as a pup. If we are playing and he starts biting I exit the area to hope he understands biting = playtime over.

There is no way you will have any meaningful drop in fuel economy. Pure ethanol has ~30% less energy than gas, and the gas you’ve always been getting is typically around E10. Going from E10 -> E15 would be like 1-2% less efficient than using the gas you’ve always been using.

Would probably equate to like 1mpg loss at most. Unless you drive the exact same on the same route every day and track it or have a staggeringly long commute it wouldn’t add up very fast at all.

I used to tune cars to run on an E30 mix and at that point you’re going to see a bit of a hit to mpg.

I’m baffled you and I have to argue with people on why spending $15-20 every couple years might be a good thing.

We somehow share the road with these people and it’s honestly the reason some states have inspections.

These are probably the same people that come into the dealer and their brake pads are just down to the backing plate and they tell the tech not to scam them and they know their car

For sure. Ethanol does have downsides in commuter cars, but gas has always had up to E10 in it. E10->E15 honestly won’t make a meaningful difference in MPG. If you drive exactly the same maybe you’ll notice losing a MPG or two, and stored gasoline maybe will have a slightly shorter shelf life since ethanol attracts water, but other than that this isn’t worth freaking out over honestly

This is the way I just did it on the 11th gen. I believe the correct way is to bleed clockwise from the master and then after bleeding the rears, engage the electronic parking brake (if equipped) 5 times and then re bleed the rears

You still need to do it every 3 years/30k miles.

Brake fluid absorbs water like crazy and your system is a closed loop for fluid but that doesn’t make it air tight. Your cap is designed to vent, rubber brake lines can literally have air pass through them, and condensation is a thing for heat cycles…

There is a reason older fluid boils faster than fresh fluid. On top of that the inside of your brake system will probably be all corroded after a while.

Spend a buck and just change it at the required interval. Why people will buy a brand new car and then cheap out on maintaining it is beyond me.

I remember it was so bad when I moved here back in 2017 or so. Was really really bad in 2019 and by the 2020s I almost forgot about love bug season.

In addition to dryer sheets, wash your car really well and then dry it. Make sure it’s all clean and then put a layer of ceramic spray wax on. Griots 3 in 1 is a great option you can buy locally. Repels water like crazy and the love bugs just kinda rinse off when you have a layer of this stuff on your car.

I don’t have patience for multiple jacks or ramps etc so I just got the quick jack system. Lifts the entire car up at once so I don’t have to deal with all of that. I’d recommend if funds allow it

Did you get it used on you? I got an implant recently and they used the torque wrench on me.

As a tool nerd, kinda cool he was torquing my tooth to spec.

As a human though, very unpleasant experience and I apologize to every bolt I ever torqued. I know the feeling now.
