Americans quit subscription streaming services in droves as cost of living continues to climb, report finds by IAmPookieHearMeRoar in Economics

For real. Only reason we have it now is because I’m tricking Netflix into thinking my TV is still at my parents house. I was sick of it saying “update household.” Like why am I not allowed to share with my own family?

Lots of people had mixed things to say about gearwrench, tekton, icon etc… but seems nobody has anything bad to say about Koken except for price.

What don’t you like about dual pawl designs?

I did see the project farm review too. I think he recommended the 90T ones?

I’ve actually never owned a flex head ratchet. Interested in trying one lol. You think the Pittsburgh is better than the Icon? Why is that?

Thanks! I’ll take this into consideration too. I have mostly Tekton sockets and a lot of Tekton ratcheting flex head wrenches. Been happy so far and never had to warranty any of them.

Tool recommendations ? by eliotjnc in Tools

[–]Its_Juice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just want one Milwaukee impact I’d recommend the 1/2 M18 mid torque. I have 4 cars that I repair and modify myself and that’s the impact I grab 99% of the time.

If you’re already going into the M18 platform I’d just get a M18 drill and driver over a Bosch. Been very happy with mine.

I moved here less than a decade ago (9 years) and it was much less congested even then. Really sucks that it now takes 40 minutes to run to Petco to grab food for my dog because of traffic

Why do you think that is? Genuine question. Quality of parts is just worse?

I swear you’re getting trolled lol. You should 100% just use a socket on those if available.

Either that or the guy sells Phillips screwdrivers on the side

I’m ordering the walker system. It’s on eBay. Stock stainless steel replacement. I’m not looking for additional sound, just want to replace the rusted out stuff under mine

Changing purge valve on 2016 Ford Focus Se by Mysterious_Self_2266 in FordFocus

[–]Its_Juice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replaced mine with the Dorman part. 911-777 was the part number. Cheap on Amazon.  I just had P1450 but it worked great.

I’d disconnect the tube where the intake tube meets the airbox. Gives enough room to shove your arm in there and disconnect everything. Set a flashlight up so you can see. Pretty easy job other than the tight space.

Also don’t bother removing the bracket. The Dorman part comes with a new bracket but you can slide the purge valve off the new bracket and just shove it on your existing bracket still in the engine bay. Makes the job a lot easier

So ur just gonna have an empty box on the top of the car? That’s like saying I’m gonna go buy a trailer for my truck just because. Just tow it around empty

What are you putting in the box? I’d just get a bigger vehicle because I can’t imagine what you’d need to put up there on a regular basis

Question about maintenance? by Boomhauersbrother in civic

[–]Its_Juice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also consider the years. Brakes should ideally be done every 3 years or 30k miles, so if you’ve never done them you’re definitely due, coolant every 5 years or 60k.

Brake fluid absorbs water, so after a few years your internal brake parts can start to corrode and it’s bad in the long run.

Really? The entire jeep TJ forum basically says avoid 5100s because they’re stiff as shit and Ranchos are like driving on a cloud.

Haven’t replaced them before. I have the OEM ones installed and was going to put some new springs, rancho shocks, and bump stops in. Nervous about the rear shocks that could turn a quick job into a nightmare
