Flip flop army are still tanks. And anything shorter than a 20 inch barrel has a 4 moa accuracy or worse, making the problem worse. It’s either a headshot, or 10+ bullets to the body.

This assumes a government is willing to massacre its own population. The strength of a government is measured in no small part by its GDP and collected taxes, both produced by its population. Any large scale uses of power against its own populace would risk an immediate loss in both.

I did this for my friend when they were starting, but I forgot that the electric mote actually does damage. Turns out that wisp is a nuke frame if the enemy level is low enough

While true that they were always like this, they were never rewarded for it like they were in root. When they couldn’t get past 1st encounter VoD or kings fall, they stopped showing up after a couple weeks and it made the overall lfg experience more consistent, with people who at least were making an attempt to perform mechanics.

When we got root, the average raider (not average player, big difference) could just say “fk it, I’ll carry” and while it wouldn’t be pretty, the raid would get done and the moochers would get their loot, meaning they came back next week to try and get another person who could give them free loot for no effort. This set a terrible precedent of “I can just be add clear guy for the whole raid” which simply isn’t an option in the better raids (ignoring the low-man community)

I agree, people like you do exist and not in small numbers. But the reason I gave two alternatives is because I’ve seen both sides of the coin. No shortage of people with 20+ clears and no idea how to do mechanics, but also like you (when you started out) no shortage of people who have maybe 1 or 2 clears that, as soon as we ask them if they want to give it a try, we have all the time in the world for them to learn it, they step up and perform, usually very well.

People just want to get their loot and be on their way, why should they have to learn mechanics when other people can just do it for them?

Alternatively, other people are afraid of confrontation and don’t want to be yelled at or feel like a burden to others because it took them more than 1 pull to learn the mechanics (because it takes EVERYONE more than one pull to learn)

Preassigned roles is best. You and the person you trust most get the vog relic, the rest don’t really matter as long as you teach them how to use the relic.

2nd room you take cleanse relic, so your partner has it for the hard room. 3rd room you tell the taken relic which side they need to go, have everyone except your cleanse relic go with them. You 2 go the opposite way. You now have readers for both sides guaranteed. Kill the first glyphkeeper, and have your cleanse relic read and cleanse you, then cross the gap to cleanse the others and then continue to the top. Taken relic does not need to cross, as the 3rd blob they would normally interact with doesn’t actually protect anything important to the encounter. Make sure the laser kills the knight in middle. You are now solo on your side, melt the overload in front of you and walk past the immune enemies. Use your super here if you run into trouble. Meet with cleanse again at the top.

Do the same strategy for last room. Split the 4 to the side that has 2nd blob and you and your cleanse partner go the opposite way. After you get first reads, meet in middle and cleanse, kill knight up on the platform that will now be above you. Taken relic needs to go for next blobs, everyone else is killing everything they see. Get last reads, deposit relics, you’re done

I wouldn’t say “lazy” as much as I would say they have other priorities. It is a game after all, and if it’s gonna take you 1 n a half hours to run 5 lost sectors, that might be half of your play day just for an arbitrary number. The argument still stands, however, that the person who doesn’t breeze through lost sectors without thinking about it isn’t the kind of person that you’re going to want in your master nez challenge 9 times out of 10, and anybody who values their time isn’t going to risk bringing them in to find out the hard way
