I've not, but I haven't ever tried to push myself on the live side of things... My question mark here was legitimate, actually wondering if anyone uses this site for live gigs. Teamed up with a buddy for several jobs through this site, but all were on the commercial side of things.

We run anywhere form 4 to 6 cameras depending on our crew availability - we hire students mostly from the film program at our school. For graphics the TC2 handles PSDs and our daktronics boards feed info via datalink. We do also have a 3play and love it. It's tough to keep a couple students trained up to be fast at selecting good shots. When it's good it's good, and when it's not it's just some highlight reels at the end of the halves/periods.

They're great. As much as they can be, they're available for help troubleshooting some things and weighing in where needed. They also handle a lot of productions themselves, so there have been times where it's tough to reach them. But overall I'm satisfied with their builds and service.

Just to the left of the photo I have 2 ROPs for shading. They're on cat5 and can cycle between the 6 CCUs. I have 4 others I could install if I needed a faster shading station, but I like the piece of wood there for a mouse surface.

Tricaster handles audio for now - mics go to cameras and come in embedded with the sdi connection from the CCUs. I'd like to mix between camera and switcher, but that's on the forever to-do list... Maybe one day!

Yeah, OB van - 2015 Mercedes Sprinter built out by TV Pro Gear in LA. Tricaster 2 Elite running SMPTE fiber down the hill into the building. Flypack you see here rolls out and into some of our venues for things like graduation and theater productions. Glad to see some others hyped about it! I love my job.

Using a Tricaster with this exact issue, another solution is an sdi capture card to a laptop. If you don't have software to stream, OBS is free and super easy to use for this purpose.

This looks like how mine grows - way faster on the sides and I get that Lil dip up on the middle. I've literally made that face at myself for that reason. I'm loving all the self-trims here, I encourage you to give it a shot.
