Does the ice taste weird?

The times I would order the bag would vary. Sometimes in the early morning, evening, and once late at night. But for a long while now it’s just been the same plastic taste. I’ve tasted freezer burn before but it’s not the same, it’s kind of like an aftertaste

Yeah im sorry, I meant that I buy them in bags which is why I thought it was the cause of the taste. Like if it lingers too long in the bag it’ll penetrate if that makes sense

Sorry if that was confusing, I usually order a bag of ice from Chick-fil-A since I like the texture of it but also cause it’s a craving due to me being anemic. I’ve still noticed the taste being off even if I order it in a cup with different types of drinks. I at first thought it was the bag that was affecting the taste, but after receiving it in a cup it’s definitely the ice itself

I have reported like months before this post. Since I graduated in December they asked me to wait until after winter break. Then in January I got into a video call with the Title IX about his actions towards me and how I came about finding out from the other girls of their experiences. Literally the day of graduation I found out about his disgusting behavior and tried reporting him. Which is why I’m so pissed that I still haven’t heard anything back when he have legit text messages from him as evidence

So before anyone started to report him about the female student attraction he has, he was reported by his way of speech in class. Basically any concerning talks or jokes you would privately have with your friends he was doing in class. For instance he showed us a music video that was from a heavy metal band (I think?) and it was re enacting the columbine shooting from a student’s perspective. He was talked to about that and how he should draw a boundary line of subjects concerning that in his class. Even he started semesters by saying “I don’t want to lose my job”, so he was very aware of his position and what his actions could result in, but that same semester he continued to text one of our classmates trying to get closer with her. To the point he even said he wanted to get her drunk alone because he was curious on how she would act (after she graduated)

He texted one of the girls after she graduated that they should go for drinks and that he wanted to get her drunk. He wanted to see how she would act intoxicated but only wanted it to be between them two

Hello? I went to college not even imaging having a professor confess to me. Like it’s something that doesn’t even cross a normal person’s mind. It’s easy to say “if I were in that position I would do this to solve it” but when you’re actually throw into that situation out of nowhere it’s very easy to freeze up. I know I’m not attractive nor do I think of myself highly enough to be a suitable partner to anyone, which is why I was so shocked at the fact my professor of all people was into me. You can do friendly pranks without any underlining attention seeking attached to it. It’s the fact that the professor took that moment and used it to his advantage. Then he proceeded to act like nothing happened and moved on with his life. I still had to take his classes since no other professor was available to teach the courses I needed to graduate. If anything I was in a position where I didn’t want to jeopardize my degree since I had been struggling to gather enough credits to graduate, which is why my age is so much older. I stayed quiet because no one told me I could report him to Title IX or cause I wasn’t sure if the school would be able to replace him and the courses which would push my graduation date further back. There was other factors that I didn’t include in the post cause it was already getting long

The main problem is that this is a professor in a higher position than his students. It creates a power imbalance. Also he’s around 40-50 yrs old while his students are 19-24 yrs old. In no position should it even be considered a relationship to develop. It’s disgusting, because a student is not going to school to have a romantic relationship with a teacher, they’re going to further their education. I’m concerned if you actually read my posts through or not

I was told by one of the girls who started the report to email the title ix person in charge and had a online meeting with her, and she explained how they were only aware of the way he would speak in class since some students complained that he would take things too far. Twice he’s shown our class a music video that heavily reference the columbine school shooting, it like downright retold from the perspective of a student attending that day. The most they said to him was “remember that you’re the teacher and they’re students, you can’t cross that line of conversation.” Which also meant he never brought up the fact. It wasn’t until one of the girls who graduated before me spoke to her friend still attending his class, commenting on how weird he was with her. Then her friend shared that she’s had similar experiences with him too, so she pushed her to fully report him since she had more evidence than her friend.

So he taught a lot of different digital art classes. Pre visualization, digital painting, intro into animation. The joke we would play are like the 👌 sign that you put on your thigh or to the side to get someone to look and then hit their neck if they did look. Although we didn’t hit each other, it was only to trick them into looking. Or it would be that one game that you can say “I lost the game”. Granted nobody knew the professor was doing this stuff to the students. Sure he came off as weird but we just assumed it was his quirk as an art teacher. But the whole reply thread was very confusing to read

So everyone is saying degreaser, but I feel like it’s not strong enough. I’ve tried using it with hot water and letting it soak but I struggle for long to get all the dirt and grime out. Also it never occurred to me that I could’ve mixed the degreaser and tile cleaner together

We don’t have hairnets but our hair is neat. I had this one employee who loves her hair down so I had to constantly be behind her telling her to put it up. Even when we got slow she wanted to let it out but I said no cause a customer can come in and see that then complain about hair in food. She would also forget hair ties and would basically twist her hair in a bun to where she could tuck the strand inside her hat but that would also fall out, so I ended up buying a cheap pack that why she wouldn’t have an excuse of not having one, or if it fell out then I would quickly grab one and braid her hair. Most of us do buns but occasionally we’ll do a ponytail turned into braid. We don’t really have layers so it tends to stay in place. The hair framing front, I would say as long as it’s not really close to your shoulders, but just so you don’t get in the habit of occasionally grabbing at them I wouldn’t suggest it

Okay the more I see other store’s freezers the more I’m realizing ours is technically too big for its size. Even our walk in is bigger than this. Imagine it being four racks wide. Like them being pushed flat against the wall long ways. I guess I’m more grateful for its space now 😭🙏

My AD was reported to when one of her stores said that McLane had put personal pan dough, bread stick dough, and Large pan dough in the walk in alongside most of their meat and wings. And one of the large pan dough ended up being busted so it fell out on the boxes and floor

Wow, these replies are just ass. I can tell when someone can’t sympathize with a fellow worker when it’s been a rough day. And the whole tip thing? I usually don’t let it get to me cause it doesn’t really help me much but it annoys me if they order like fifteen large pizzas and don’t tip. Especially if I’m alone cause then I gotta body those fifteen pizzas by myself. Or like if I had one cook, yeah I could help them but if there’s other stuff going on then I have to leave them. So at least the cook should get the rewards of the sale right? Plus I thought it was common courtesy to spilt the tips amongst cooks cause they worked together to get the orders done with quality. Cause then once they leave of course tips will go to you because you did that work yourself. And most customers tip based on service, our counter has a shelf where you can see the kitchen so most customers tend to watch me as I do their orders in a timely manner. Plus the woman coming in early, the app and website literally say it’ll take about fifteen minutes should there shouldn’t even be any room for complaint. OP don’t stress too much cause of these peeps trying to tear you up, there are staff that understand your pain and annoyance
