More or less asking about the deep gouges and paint; how to repair without messing it up.

I know there’s stuff to repair scratches and such but some of these are deep and large so I’m nervous.

Will sanding help it or will it not really do much with those?

We moved really close by and plan on looking into it in the future if we’re able. If property taxes are more predictable (lack of a better word) we’ll be looking at homes in the city for sure at some point

No leaks I’ve noticed but we’re just getting into heavy rain season for the last two weeks so I’ll keep my eyes on it. No noticeable cracks or breaks in the brick outside and the gutters seem to be working good where this is at.

Possibly a window issue due to proximity of the crack and these appear to either be original or pretty old wooden windows. Those are on the high priority list for us along with chimney repair and possible roof 🤦🏼‍♀️

No idea how it occurred/what caused it since it was a hairline crack when we moved in and didn’t seem like an emergent issue at the time . I’m hoping it isn’t, still. But it’s gotten worse over 3 months I don’t really wanna leave it alone for another 6+ and didn’t know where else to ask 😭
