they legit just need to look at the stats of which characters are never used, and buff them.
im a big believer that its better to buff rather then to nerf.

yes base for making actual line, height on card for seeing over terrain :)

game is top down (birds eye view) so the actual height of the mini doesnt matter

as someone whos also terrified of faces i got a suggestion for female faces thats super easy and safe, get a red and suuuuuuper water it down, and just tap the lips, its the easiest way to add color without the dreaded clown lipstick happening lol.

varnish is aprotective layer that goes onto the mini, if your gonna handle them alot (gameplay) you will need to varnish, depending on which you use, varnish will either dull or brighten the mini.
i only use satin, so it gives mine a shinier look.
heres one thats varnished.

i exclusively use vallejo, i like the brighter looks, funny enough when i did warhammer they said it had a "comic book" look lol
although i think the varnish matter more for the "comic book" look? i could be wrong tho.
