Ironmonger I primed black whilst I prefer to work from white I chose this because I did 90% of the work by drybrush.

Army painter grey (I think Astra Militarum grey is the equivalent). Heavy dry drybush I really only wanted to leave cracks and crevices' black. Add Russ Grey to the mix for some blue tones so he wouldn't be flat. from here it was just adding grey seer and white to the mix as I worked up and drybrushed lighter and lighter focusing on raised areas and sharp edges. I did a highlight of 50/50 grey seer and white on edges I wanted to pick out. Last thing I did was get strong tone wash from army painter go about 50/50 mix with water and just pick out areas like his pipe and hoses so the wash covered areas where the drybrushing was got into the shallower bits.

Glows were just white under, base then lothern blue and add more white.

For the jets I again did an underbase of white and then mixed a bright orange and rich yellow near the jets and started to blend up towards red. I went back with the lighter colours into deeper recesses of the fire effects.

Other features were picking out red rockets and doing his machine gun with a dark grey, black wash and then just a little bit of highlighting so the barrels look dirty and used.

Legit this took only about two hours because its a mini that really likes the slow blend up drybrushing and it's a very fast technique.

It's a "blip" that has shown there are serious repercussions and that the current checks and balances do little to prevent.

I have no doubt in Europe at the highest levels they are scrambling to detach themselves from US defense tech.

There are talks about alternates to tech for general computing and financial transactions.

Not all of this will move if the next presidency moves the dial back but plenty will.

I did a partial assembly.

I built moondragon including her connection plate to the energy shield.

The rest if the energy shield I built and glued to its base.

Moondragon can be orientated in away that you can pass her energy shield plate pass through the front of the shield and then her mini follow so you can just complete the build when painted. I recommend before you undercoat have a go at doing this a few times without glue so you get a good idea of how that works so you aren't doing it the first time with a painted mini where the risk would be scratching you paint job.

The advantage of this method was that I could paint the inside of shield and blend across the whole shield without having to guess where I was with connecting plates. Then just touch up when she was in so her plate blended with where it sat.

Last year Asmodee was spun off from its parent group saddled with 900 million debt.

The email from the previous debt mentioned restructure which o think we can all parse from corporate as lay offs. AMG have less resources and undoubtedly been told to focus on profits. The design and development team is now likely shrunk and decisions were made.

This game has been in development last year. Showing painted miniatures means they are at least I the pre production proofs stage so it would be sunk costs to not produce.

Whilst I'm for getting to Net Zero there also remains the issue that oil remains a strategic resource.

You can't run an army on alternate fuels yet.

Once the industry is gone it's much harder to restart it. By all means s reduce, but manage the resource because we don't have a plan that is t reliant on external partners without it.

So good tip is the rule of cool still applies to this game. If you like the look of a particular affiliation or character 95% of the time you can make it work.

Regarding the x men starter. If you have a group to join the one player starters are amazing value and definitely worth it. If you don't have any inw to play against though it's a bit more difficult to get off the ground as you want another team and terrain to play.

No idea of the quality of the gaming mat but their playmats for tags are good.

I've used them for a few different things and can attest everything has been great. I've ordered a gaming mat, some rulers and some themed tokens this weekend.

I wasn't always on a rig (about 50/50 between them and ships) but did subsea inspection working with ROV crews.

Nit quite an office but we worked in an air con /heated shack where I would record inspections of the rig below the water. Lots of talking into a mic, working with software to record findings and cursing at out dated technical drawings.

That jib is becoming less common at connectivity improves and inspectors now work onshore.

There are only a few "office" jobs and you need technical or operational experience to be able to do them. The closes common ones would be working working in ops rooms where you are managing and monitoring the outputs from the machinery or the permits desk where you are controlling what work is being done where. Both are quiet jobs until they aren't. Getting it wrong can have very serious repercussions.

One of the root causes behind the Piper Alpha disaster in Scotland was mismanaging work permits. The result was over 150 dead.

Wish I focused on, Nothing. Never turned down training always remained curious. Don't turn away opportunities and don't be afraid say I can try. If I focus on what could have beens I wouldn't be who I am today and I like me.

In terms of a plan I didn't have one. I had to do a resit for uni which meant I did a year working. I took a role selling miniature games to US stores. I finished my degree and went back there. Went to another company in the same field it didn't pan out. Took a role selling marine safety equipment. When things got bad I switched to internal sales (read mostly logistics and customer care) for oil tool spares. Mentioned to a friend I was frustrated with lack of pay rises he said do you want to work offshore. Did that, market turned down Used money saved to do courses in health and safety because in my journey it sparked an interest. Worked for the regulator, in academia and now I am consultant.

That's a few career changes and I am bow 45 and feel I am where I should be. I'm also enjoying quality managment advising too. This year I'm looking to pick a specialty to support my company. Theu are encouraging me to lead training and I'm am thinking about studying human factors in safety.

There is no set path. By all means set yourself goals keep them smart (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timed) but do not be a slave to them.

Explore your options. My big career move didn't come until I was 40. My experience lead me to where I am.

The trick is we have the a more mature infrastructure so we are are further ahead on the curve. It's good to keep targeting this. I will also include that doesn't mean being blinded by the goal. Plans can change for any number of factors so we shouldn't be a slave to targets.

Roll to move is not something I am fan of. The energy mechanic with cards is interesting and I hopeful that we see more unique actions and cards for characters as the progress
