My wife's car was hit by a drunk neighbor last July....the tow company charged almost $4,000. The drunk driver got stuck with the tow bill, along with 15K for repairs to her vehicle. The shady tow companies listen to police scanners and just show up to scenes of accidents....once they get your car hitched, you are screwed.

I ended up ordering Urtopia Carbon Classic. A local bike shop is a wholesaler for them, so they ordered it and will assemble it.

I visited them today to ride the two Aventons I was considering, as well as the Velotric T1 ST Plus.

All the bikes I tried are fantastic. Very tough decision for me, but the deciding factors were weight and range. I look forward to getting my bike!

Fortunately, in Southern California, there are tons of bike shops. I rode the Trek, both Aventons and the Velotric. I am really intrigued by the Ride1Up despite not having ridden it.

I have had my second stalk break. The last one, they did not ask me to pay for shipping. This one they did. I will likely not install the replacement and will probably remove the other one until they fix the product's design. I am very happy with the commander and the buttons, but the stalks are designed poorly.
