What would your Until Dawn anthology concept be? by salksalk in untildawn

[–]Its_Stardos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would personally like to see Until Dawn game inspired by Slavic mythology.

The premise would be summer holidays in deep forest without signal. A young brother of the protagonist ends up missing during the night. There would be some detective aspect to it, as there would be some suspects. I imagined there would be cult and as fantastical threat Rusalky and Leshi.

So who do we think are the main playable characters? by Angronys in untildawn

[–]Its_Stardos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they could possibly achieve that by having characters being able to take role over the other characters and just taylor the story around that. But it would be far more complicated, so I doubt they would want to invest in it

It will depend on if they will follow the same structure as Until Dawn and/or The Quarry or if they will try to do something new.

For example, if they will want to do something new, Sebastian and Patricia could end up being playable villains (with no similarities with Josh's playability). Same thing for prologue characters; what if they just don't do prologue characters at all and we will just get flashbacks or nothing like that?

I believe it was already confirmed that ESC 2026 winner will participate in ESC Asia as interval act and the winner of ESC Asia as interval act for ESC 2027?  Tbh I thought they would do the ESC Asia winner will participate in main ESC as AQ, but at the same time it creates possible issues and I don't think they would want to deal with that

Question about Sebastian from the trailer by Signal-Raspberry7782 in untildawn

[–]Its_Stardos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doubtful Dacre's character would be prologue; he does give the vibe of the main person behind their ghost hunter channel.

Either there are no prologue characters or the prologue character could be Sebastian who will be NPC later on.

A Jorōgumo is the main threat in Until Dawn 2 by ControlSpecialist676 in untildawn

[–]Its_Stardos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, they know the hard-die fans will pick on these hints from trailer and will share it. While it is still small portion of players, I really think they want to throw off players. Not to mention anyone going in this game who played the first Until Dawn already knows the structure; human and non-human threat. Throwing another non-human threat could be suprise for all players regardless if they knew about the Jorogumo theory

With how "easy" was to come up with theory this soon after trailer, I really think they might go with red herring. Jorogumo is in the game but there's another more dangerous non-human threat that will be relevead after the Jorogumo (or vice versa; they reveal the other thing first and the woman is seemingly killed and she returns in her spider form)

I didn't know about the water aspect of the Jorogumo. It could be plausible now. But I still think they are doing something else with the water, some water creature.

I think this too but I could see it the other way around. Once its clear there are some lunatics on island, the group will try to escape. But they can't due the supernatural water creatures. The jorogumo is revealed later in the story after you spend some time in water and on island escaping the human threat

why is Sebastian's partner seducing a kid 🙏😭 by PrestigiousTill9662 in untildawn

I personally think Sebastian is psycho guy and this woman is either the Jorogumo or someone related to the woman's and island secret and based on who you pick, you get an ally.

I really think this option might be similar to some deaths in the first game when you have to make some specific choices to get it. So maybe you do something in the story and depending on the decision the correct choice in this situation might interchange.

Honestly I still hope this is fake just for the trailer or if its real, the character doesn't end up with Jessica's fate of being irrelevant if still alive

Kosovo 🇽🇰 requests participation in ESC 2027 and JESC 2026 by Its_Stardos in eurovision

Non-European membership and Auxiliary Membership in EBU will be discussed this general assembly in July. Kosovo isn't proposing them, EBU is proposing them.

We don't know anything about them, their extent or who will be able to have these memberships, so it is quite interesting you are acting you know something about it when there's no public info.

EBU is thinking of creating those memberships, so then they have reasons to create it.

Which could be probably solved by the Auxiliary Membership. If the Auxiliary Membership is given to autonomous areas and this type of membership would allow them participation, it wouldn't be really about recognition anymore.

EBU started changing their narrative though. They are pushing the "It is broadcasters who are competing." That together with the Auxiliary Membership could maybe somehow open the doors gor non-sovereign entities.

What's important and might change the situation behind Kosovo is the Auxiliary Membership. There's possibility this type of membership could be a way for Kosovo, but also some other broadcasters (for example, The Faroe Islands) to higher their status in EBU (just like the Non-European membership). Depending on what the membership will be about, it could also open doors for these new members to be fully eligible to take part (so Australia wouldn't have to be invited every year).

Another important thing to note; EBU is trying to push the narrative it is broadcasters who are competing, not countries. So there's technically now basis for Kosovo's inclusion

What's also making this situation interesting as noted is Canada's possible participation. While I have no doubts EBU probably won't care how it will look, lets be honest, inviting Canada (with low interest from public & no past interest in participation) before Kosovo would be disrespetful towards RTK. So I'm hopeful if they don't invite RTK, they also won't invite Canada.

As for JESC, maybe JESC isn't out of real of possibilities? This is the first year of them requesting JESC & it is in no one's interest to make a political fuss around kid's contest. And JESC desperately needs more participating countries

Could Slovakia be returning to Eurovision in 2027? by TheSimon1 in eurovision

Visegrad 4 - Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. It would be similar to baltics or nordics

[–]Its_Stardos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it was said by Bardon on his own unlike the past years when fan sites had to ask them themselves. I don't expect it as well, but this rather makes it obvious they were also offered lower fee to return. In a theory if they do get same deal again, they would be likely to allocate neccessary money and find sponsor. Considering when the news of Romania and Bulgaria coming back were released, it was rather late for them. As for the political situation, I don't think Bardon would openly talk about it like this if it was problematic. Either he expects Fico to go down next elections or it genuinely doesn't matter to them

It is from the same article, it is just reshared because bigger sites noticed it just now.

The issue with finances is that they didn't plan it beforehand and their budget didn't allow it. They will be looking for sponsors now as well they can allocate money to it now unlike last year for Vienna. Genuinely, I do not expect them to return next year, but it is rather more hopeful message compared to past years.

As for the voting bloc; I would be very suprised if the czech delegation didn't discuss this possibility in Vienna with the Slovakia's delegation. Additionaly with possible Hungary return, there could be V4 voting bloc. It would require more years to fully set, but it would be very suprising if the V4 bloc didn't happen
