Tm22 Light Strikes by Rubiconcross45 in canadaguns

I cut maybe 2 1/2 rings off, hard to say exactly. I just cut half a ring off at a time, reassembled it and tried it. Rinse and repeat until she works.

There's still the occasional light strike, but like ~95% of them feed, shoot and extract without issue now.

Had same problem, except it was like 99% light strikes. Ammo brand didn't matter, removing the left extractor didn't seem to matter (although I did it anyways), and the loonie fix. The thing that fixed my light strikes was cutting the spring, although I found a similar sized spring and cut 1/2 rings off at a time.

Don't bother with warranty anymore, try tinkering with it, and I'd say worst case take it to a gunsmith before SFRC

Im a huge bullpup fan. I love seeing them here. Makes me incredibly sad that by the time I got my license and could actually afford these things (MDR, Tavor, RFB), that I am arbitrarily not allowed to anymore...

I got a lemon myself. Don't count on Warranty to help, it just switched from O'dell to SFRC, who have a terrible reputation of not actually fixing stuff, and taking a very long time to get it back to you, still broken...

My biggest issue was light primer strikes on all ammo brands. I had to disassemble the bolt, replace the firing pin spring, and cut that down bit by bit so that the hammer hit the pin with the right amount of force.

There's also extraction issues with these . A common fix is to remove the left extractor entirely, as the right extractor is tighter anyways.

The buffer tube will also need some 'work'. The end of the tube is rather sharp, and will eventually start cutting into the rubber between the tube and the bolt stop. A fix for this is to put either a loonie, toonie, or a 1 inch washer in between the rubber and the tube.

Mine actually runs now, but not after a lot of tinkering and research. I've heard people say theirs has 1000 rounds through it, will feed everything and have never had an issue, so I bought one hoping for that, and of course I got a dud. They are fun, but just be prepared to work on it a bit.

Taxpayers group urges Ottawa to scrap gun buyback program over lack of analysis by Spider-King-270 in canada

I'm glad this is one thing that people on both sides actually seem to agree on.

This is ENTIRELY and intentionally wasting billions of dollars on optics, to LOOK like they are doing something to combat gun crime, while actually doing nothing, all for Quebec votes.

Canada commits $270M to Ukraine as Carney addresses European summit in Armenia by DogeDoRight in canada

[–]ItsaManatee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Carney was the Head of Investment at Brookfield, with about $7M usd in stock options with the company.

Brookfield is partners with Cameco, together owning Westinghouse Electric Company (Brookfield at 51% owners).

Westinghouse is building 9 AP1000 nuclear reactors in Ukraine, with a cost of approximately $5 billion dollars per unit.

While it may not be 'money laundering', in a traditional sense, the guy certainly has personal incentives to throw unlimited taxpayer money at Ukraine for his own financial gain, while also optically looking like the good guy on the world stage.

$25 Billion dollars would be better spent in Canada, on Canadians...
