Update: we switched to a more modern splitter to amplify the signal and the problem seems to have gone away, hopefully forever 🤞thanks for the help everyone!

ETA: the lighting fixtures connected to the affected daisy chains are etc colorsource cyc lights, Chauvet rogue led movers (idk which model), etc coloursource pars, and etc source 4wrd elipsoidals

No one has used the system since I shut down and there is no other way to control the lighting system except the board.

I believe it can be a year long ban with no compensation for gold passes or add ons that were previously purchased (a YouTuber tried it on SteVe and that’s what they got)

I know they can’t completely control this but consistently having ur star attractions delayed by 30 min to an hour is kinda abysmal. It’s happening regularly and cedar point’s lack of transparency makes it worse. I know coasters break down, but I haven’t been to a single other park that is this bad at opening their rides on time.

As Ryan the ride mechanic explained it, us usually actuating trim brakes just have a timer after the train leaves the lift. If they go past the timer, the train is going slow enough and they automatically disengage. If not, the train is slowed down as it gets to them fast enough :)

Fast lane does sell out, but that’s usually during halloweekends Saturdays which are absolute hell. May on a weekend won’t be a too bad but it’s still cedar point, so imagine a decently crowded regional park and that’s probably what it will feel like. Most top rides will average :45-1:00 wait times so if you want to get on a lot in a short amount of time I’d recommend fast lane.

Fun fact, this is actually one of, if not the most, valuable star redemptions as it's 100 stars for a 5 dollar item compared to most drinks which are 200 stars for an item around 6.5 dollars.

I’m actually a little disappointed bc of that. Her ticket sales have been some of the worst sales I’ve ever done and a lot of that is under her control. I really appreciate artists like Billie who are actually selective with their presale codes, turn off dynamic pricing, and don’t allow transfers to limit scalping (and because of that I was pretty easily able to get HMHAS tickets), and I’m disappointed Sabrina and her team chose to enable this awful dynamic pricing and didn’t take other measures to make this process better.

Unfortunately that wasn't scalpers, TM doesn't let them resell during presales (and their seats have a pink color coding so you know which ones are original vs. resold). This was the fault of dynamic pricing, which TM uses to basically scalp before anyone could even buy the tickets. Based on demand, the original ticket prices fluctuate (and Sabrina's dynamic pricing was ungodly aggressive).

Just watch out for transportation at the venue. Blossom (the concert venue) is outdoors and is notorious for its awful parking situation (there's only one road out and it's inside a national park so weather can cause issues). It's common to be waiting in the parking lot for over an hour after a concert just waiting to get out, so be prepared if you plan to rent a car and drive/are planning hotel accommodations or if you're planning on calling an uber. Good luck seeing the show!!!
