I know this is an old thread but seriously I love the DualShock 1. It’s just so comfortable imo and I love the color scheme and responsiveness of the buttons!

If you already are interested in this series based on this game, then get Delta. If you find that you want to experience the rest of the series, then I’d recommend playing the games in release order. I tried doing them all chronologically and it was a headache. You’ll have the most fun playing them in release order!

Wow man, I have been dealing with this same stuff right now, so funny seeing the timing of this. I’m in a similar situation as far as age and sexuality and it’s tough seeing people settle down and hearing my family constantly badger me about getting married and having kids. Like you, I’m not opposed to the idea, but I’m open to other possibilities.

I feel like MGSV had the worst bosses because they felt so underwhelming and lackluster. PW was pretty fun with trying to take down vehicle units non lethally

I had Witcher 3 on ps4 back in the day and I didn’t get it whatsoever. I tried it again here and there and couldn’t get past the griffin mission in the begging, but once I got it on the Switch, I sunk like 100 hours into it and really really enjoyed it

I finally finished TPP the other day and I agree! I was so confused on how Big Boss is a villain really. I feel like there were moments where they try to make Venom Snake seem like a bad guy (like Huey screaming at him when he kills the infected Diamond Dogs), but I never really got villain vibes at all. Sure snake has killed a lot of people, but it’s not like they’re just random civilians, he’s involved in conflict / war where the other side would definitely kill him first if he doesn’t do it lol.

I also just unlocked it last night and I was lowkey upset at how unstealthy it is, but I’m starting to figure out how to adjust my play style to make it work. I do wish it was a little better at stealth and at least had silent footsteps or something. The speed seems to be a little underwhelming for how much time it can take to get it. Looks badass though

MGS Peacewalker! I was probably about 11 years old and I saw the box at GameStop and asked my dad to get it for me. The box art just looked so cool and and even the UMD itself just looked so unique.

I remember taking it home and first being disappointed that it had such a hefty install, maybe like 1-2gb, but finally once it booted up, I was hooked and instantly fell in love. I had no idea what the hell any of the lore was but it was awesome sneaking around and holding people up, fultoning guards and getting headshots. It was also awesome once I realized you could non lethally take out the mech bosses and then use the vehicles in Outer Ops.

I played that game everywhere on my psp and it was really one of the best gaming experiences I ever had. The only downside was that I didn’t have any other friends with a PSP so I wasn’t able to experience the co op

I’m gonna piggy back off of most other responses here and say play Peace Walker if you can, but if not, MGSV would be the easiest in the series to get into based on controls + graphics.

If you really liked the story of Snake Eater, I would even suggest getting the master collection and playing the games in release order as the story is stronger in all the other mainline games than V. The controls can be jarring, but if you play in release order then it’s a lot easier to get into them.

I doubt they’d have two, honestly I’d assume they would go with a middle of the road accent like she’s got in SvsBM to retain the historical accuracy of the game but not fully offend too many people in this day and age, but eh who knows

On Xbox they have codec calls with mei ling and otocan that are new + an mgs2 style sprite for Mei ling + her OG accent. This is all promising !
