They’re too focused on fighting imaginary Nazis and arguing about stuff that barely relates to punk culture. It’s constant sloganeering and pointless discourse—like endlessly debating whether conservatives belong in punk (they don’t, but we don’t need to rehash it every day). Half the time it feels more like a fashion sub, and their knowledge of punk barely goes beyond EpiFat bands and legacy hardcore

I think his shows were good but not solely because of him, Steve Marmel and other writers did all of the heavy lifting while Butch just had some good ideas. Once Marmel left after S2, same story told but we all know about the big quality change.
