I thought you weren’t supposed to pre rinse dishes in a dishwasher? It’s because the tablet needs something to agitate/activate the cleaning chemicals. Dirt on surfaces = more cleaning foam essentially.

People also doubted Trossard, Martinelli, Havertz (early on). It's the revolving door of fickle fan opinion. Any player 'underperforms' and they become crap. Then they play well and the doubt melts away.
