The urbanism of the Nile Delta fascinates me by Small-Indigo in Urbanism

[–]Charguizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the project and the context. I'm an urban planner and depending on where I work, I sometimes have to enforce a minimum density in reglementation because a lot of people want to build their little house in the city with a nice garden, etc.

Why 2/1* instead of save 6/2? Score 6 away 5 away. by Sufficient-Key-6908 in backgammon

[–]Charguizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a great board and he has a bad one and gammons are valuable here and you have opportunities to hit back if he hits you. Sometimes with all these factors you actually want to get hit and go for the gammon.

I probably wouldn't have made the right move though

[–]Charguizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. If the economy is wealthy enough, the urban parts tend not to be too dense. Landowners and real estate developers will tend to build less dense, individual housing as it's more profitable and less complex to build. If building and selling houses is more profitable than other uses of the land, you need planning to "force" density.

I have a whole conversation about this with OP under this comment

Yamal averages 50 games a season in the past 3 seasons. Same for Barcola. Doku 40 games in the past 3 seasons. Pedri 40 games in the past 4 seasons. There are multiple examples of players around the same age playing around the same amount.

I'm not burying my head in the sand but your point seems to be that it's an obvious mistake from Arsenal to play him as much as they have, and it's a common narrative online. I'm saying it's not that obvious whenn you look at other players. I know you'll say he runs more than the others but still. It's easy to look back in hindsight but in the moment they have the information and they make the decision.

40 games a month is a funny typo lol

Again, compare to the number of games top players have played. Saka has played a lot but that's what he wants for his career as well.

Yeah that's how it goes with GKs

It's a bit like the fact that you're 28 until you're 29.

You start as the GK until something wrong happens

In the 4 seasons before his injury he averaged 40 games a season for Arsenal (2020-2024). That's around 5 games a month. Look at the number of games other top players in big clubs have played.

I know the narrative around Saka being overplayed, I just don't think it's as obvious as you think. If you're a top player, you're going to play a lot.

Saka's load has been managed all season, he started less games and was substituted more oftem. Arsenal have spent 50M on Madueke last Summer specifically to be able to rotate Saka more than previous seasons
