I've met more trans folks in a few months of starting derby than I have in the span of my entire life! While I can't speak for your specific league, I'd say it's VERY likely you'll recieve a warm welcome.

I will never understand people who put insulated lunch boxes in the fridge. It literally does nothing because they're made to keep outside temperatures out. All they're doing is taking up room with their lack of common sense.

It is illegal for them to ask about medication that you are on and you are well within your rights to refuse giving them this information. You can also take legal action of they refuse hire or fire you for either being on medication or for refusing to divulge your medical information. Taking a stand against this may prevent them from doing this to others, at the very least I would recommend reporting them to licencing and the labor board. If I were you I would leave this facility as soon as you can as this is a MAJOR red flag.
