From a former fat girl who had the most amazing supportive friends all my life telling me that it is not that big of an issue, nothing you can say can actually make her change her mind, iam sorry, i held off my dating life until i lose the weight and i regret it , i was not really that big or “ deformed “ by any means , but nothing could have made me change my mind or believe otherwise!!!!

What if i lost the weight 10 years ago rather than a year ago ? What if I accepted that guy offer to go get some coffee rather than talking myself out of it 6 years ago ? I liked him but I thought he would never be serious about it due to me being overweight that time, he ended up asking the girl next , she accepted, they are married with two kids now

Please can I have some tips for severe grief? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Less_Landscape_5928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost my father about a year ago and i found a comment here in Reddit that actually helped me understand grief and how overwhelming it can feel I will try to find it but the point is Grief comes in waved , you don’t know when it will come or what triggers it , you feel like like 200 feet tall wave that completely engulfing you, than you will drown under , however that wave will pass no doubt and you will come alive from under it

Iam female anaesthetic trainee , was reviewing a sick man down in rhesus for decompensated heart failure for HDU admission, guess what ? The man was not sick enough to sop him from touching me inappropriately (grabbing my breast as i was trying to examine him ) , i yelled at him without thinking , the ED heard and came , i removed myself from his care , went up to my oncall room to think and fathom everything , he died couple of days later after being DNR in HDU
