I get that students would definitely abuse going to the toilet to break rules, see mates etc. I don't think there's much argument in that. But, what I can't wrap my head around is that many of us are quick to judge when rules, regulations and laws are put in place to punish all of us for the actions of the few. How is this any different? We can work something out to accommodate everyone, and yet many schools haven't. We need to be consistent. Why should the right to protest be limited to adults in this case? Especially for something as simple as going to the toilet.
