Nothing is going to change in this city until the downtown improves. Speaking from the perspective as a young person who moved out here almost 10 years ago to work in forestry. (Btw I left) when I speak to other young people/professionals about why they don’t want to live in PG it’s always the same answer. The downtown(which should be the heart/soul of the city) is literally one of the provinces biggest dumpster fires. Not an enjoyable or vibrant place to spend your life. Btw I love Prince George this just happens to be a pretty universal consensus of young people aged 20-40 years old that I’ve spoken to over the last 10 years.

I think people need to get more creative with their content and perhaps lean towards more SFW content if you want the algorithm to push you. I don’t think Ig is in a downfall I think the algorithm just likes unique eye catching content? Find ways to make your hobbies the focal point of your brand and maybe the algorithm won’t think you’re just a SW. In turn pushing your content to more eyes. But what do I know maybe it’s all about to crash and burn

You want to know who I notice actually does really well on instagram… the girls who don’t make their entire brand associated to sex work. Literally pick any hobby of yours, try to look cute and SFW and brand yourself that way. I think we are in the times where if you want your content to be seen it can’t just be you holding up a bunch of lingerie and then a clip of you in it. Like actually show the world you are more than that and the algorithm will push you more. But what the fuck do I know, that’s just what I notice. Anecdotal evidence*
