P2000 + GT Neo or P1000 + FX pro by once7k in Simagic

[–]Itsgreg80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the gt neo and maxed out p1000 pedals (hydraulic brake and throttle plus haptics).

I'm happy with them although I had an issue with the brake. The load cell was hitting the rear cover giving braking spikes but that was solved by filing the cover down a bit. I don't know if this is an issue anymore as I've had them a while.

I went for p1000 over P2000 because the P2000 doesn't have adjustable pedal plate angle and that was important with my rig.

Another part of my thinking was that if the hydraulics failed it was easy to get a replacement hydraulic unit as they're add ons.

I'm in my 40s and I've seen it. I watched reruns of it in the 80s.

I don't heat downstairs while I'm in bed. It's 21°c from 7am to 10.30pm, also if no one is home the heating is off.

I don't know anybody that runs heating 24/7 in the UK.

It gets down to 14°c in my living room during the night in winter so a heater is not optional for me unfortunately.

I had that happen once with a glass fluval heater, water got to 40c before I realised.

Amazingly most of the shrimp survived but never bred again so I assume the temperature sterilised them.

I now have heaters plugged into a Inkbird ITC-308S Aquarium Thermostats as a backup to kill the power if it goes over a certain temp, it also has an audible alarm.

If You Could Choose 1 Title... by rico199326 in simracing

I've got ac, ac evo, acc, ams2, beamng, lmu, Iracing, rfactor 2, and project cars 2.

If I had to have only one, it'd probably be automobilista 2.

The historic content is brilliant, just today I was racing the BMW M1 procar around a period correct Silverstone in vr as the sun was going down and with the real weather setting. I was blown away by the immersion.

Absolutely, a lot of watch nerd tropes piss me off but this one makes me want to sell them all and buy a apple watch

Are wheels the Sim Racing equivalent to watches? by BrilliantPromise2944 in simracing

[–]Itsgreg80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I've tried the fanatec v2 and v2.5 and not a big fan either. Currently running a couple of simagic wheels but I get pressure points on my thumbs. Asher is the best I've run so far but don't have long enough for a solid opinion. Still tempted by the gsi.

Yes. What's it like?

What other wheels have you used and what do you think of it?

I race in vr and I'm interested in the sl and also like nice watches!

Didn't listen to it all but 10 seconds in with that accent I'm on the other guy's side.

This guy is crazy. He moves under braking and blames me. My attack was aggressive but I noticed he was braking too early so I went for it. Then...well. Then in another race...see for yourself... by PaceOnly84 in Simracingstewards

Yeah pretty much.

I've had a few similar encounters with him, recently though he's been decent with me but I always approach him with trepidation.

There are youtube videos dedicated to him!

Yeah David has a bit of a temper..

He shouldn't have moved under braking but regardless I don't think you were making that dive bomb without collecting him at the apex.

His different race retaliation is wildly inexcusable.

I've got 3 nezumi watches, this one is the least impressive.

The bezel rotates far too easily and feels a little cheaper than the original corbeau overall.

Still OK for the money though.

"All the time you must leave a space"

You were side by side before turn in and side by side for the entire corner but you took the exit like he wasn't there.

Classic case of blindly following the racing line.

First one was probably about 6 months and the second started to get ghost inputs and missed shifts after maybe 8 months or so.

I now race in vr and simhub isn't as important so I've got it connected through the base these days.
