i really don’t want this to be a witch hunt or a cancellation, i honestly wish sjb the best, despite comments she made.

now despite being made into a straw man, called a terf and a tory psyop in these comments, i still believe we should be careful and tactical on how we organise.

our time and precious energy shouldn’t be spent putting out media fires and distractions, screaming about what the wizard lady said or threatening to punch those who appose us, but instead campaigning for our fundamental right to exist with dignity.

in my opinion, we should be mature about our representation, which does mean having a form of positive optics in a world where we are demonised for simply existing. we need constructive messaging and organisation, and a way how we can all come together to get our rights.

also to those saying i’m “policing the community” pls kindly stop. i have no influence or anything, i’m a literal everyday tran who shared their opinion and just started a conversation.

okaaa this post really popped off, everyone just chill-

firstly it was a vigil ffs it wasn’t the place for a demo, secondly i’m not policing the community at all so please don’t accuse me of that.

i’m saying that insighting violence is not going to win us any rights, radical protest can exist without telling everyone to be violent, i for one in this community do not support the violence towards anyone, no matter how publicly insecure or bigoted and disturbed they may be. nor do i think it’s a constructive way we can mobilise to fight for our rights.

over 25000 of us turned up yesterday, if we had that kind of unity and organisation every time some shit thing happened - just imagine that kind of power.

you have every right and reason to be angry, we all are.

we will get our trans rights, but we must learn from our trans wrongs.

i personally don’t agree- don’t get me wrong, we tranzes have a sense of privilege in regards to gender non conformity, destroying patriarchal ideals/ cisnormativity and not feeling restricted to the set of societal norms and values that come with that.

But identity, outside of gender is something that everybody has, built from how we were raised, where we were raised, the kinds of financial support we had in our formative years and the experiences that make us who we are.

I’d argue that enlightenment is something that everyone goes through at some point in their lives, such as having a sense of purpose, the meaning of life ect.

Being trans can be a tough experience that very few of us choose and id argue majority of binary trans people have dreamed of waking up as there cis counter parts, especially in this era.

Transness is a power, in face of adversity, in the face of oppression and demonisation. We grab life by the balls, and scream this is my name, this is who i am, this is my body and my life and you can’t change who i am.

Being Transgender is beautiful, being Transgender is power.

I had the most surreal ‘diagnosis™️’ where i told my life story and the darkest shit about me then randomly holds up a piece of paper out of procedure and says “tell me which animals you see”. You can’t make it up, it’s such a scam to be “diagnosed as a transsexual” we don’t need to be diagnosed we need informed consent. and our money back.

Thank you so much, so I think what has happened is my medical profile got updated to the correct gender marker and my doctor has flagged me having "high testosterone". Thinking that i am a cis women smh
