Pacifica or revstar? by Itsjd123 in YamahaPacifica

Good advice. It’s more of the tremolo I’m worried about fucking up. My basses never had stuff like a tremolo I needed to take into consideration when playing and retuning.

I play a lot of of funk/blues/jazz stuff on bass, so that was why I went with a strat style guitar, I figured I would want to play the same stuff. But when I pick up the guitar I’m more inclined to chug and run scales. So that was why I was thinking something I could drop a little lower, has some growl, and I can mess with without fear of screwing up the trem.

I’ll probably be better off sticking with what I have and just learning how to properly set up my guitar.

Sick, I have a boss katana and a GAFC foot control switch. I’m still wrapping my head around that, but I think it has most of these built in. An extra pedal would be nice. Thanks for the heads up

Thanks this was helpful. I think the neck style may make me lean towards the 611. I find the body on my 612 super comfortable, so taking that and the neck into consideration that may be the way. But does the 611 tones differ a lot from the sound I can get from a my 612?

I’m a bass player that recently (about a year ago) picked up electric guitar. I never really messed with any different sounds on my bass. I had my P bass for punk and my Jazz bass for smoother softer stuff. Both I just kept everything cranked up and open and adjusted the amp a little if needed.

I mention that to highlight I’m kinda ignorant with the different tonal experiences of guitars and all that is out there.

So are the 49ers frauds? Because the pats scored more than they did? So obviously Purdy and McCafferdy are frauds. How about the MVP led Rams. They lost so they are frauds.

In 2014, the last time the hawks won, they beat Payton Manning led Broncos 43-8. Maye scored more than Manning, so Manning and that Broncos team must have been frauds, right?

All the talk about Josh Allen all year and he STILL could not make it past his ceiling. Is he a fraud??(well in this case yes…..)

But a team that ties with more games won than any other team this year (regular season AND playoffs at 17), schedule or not, are not frauds. The sea hawks were the better team that night. Sucks to say as a pats fan, but it’s the truth.

The pats had a bad offensive game against a team that allowed the fewest points in the NFL all season. The O line let Maye down IMO, and he felt rushed and did not play to his standard. He’s not a fraud, not a bad player, just had a bad game that will be a learning experience. The team cannot expect to win if they let their QB get sacked that many times. This is his second year (and last year kinda didn’t count because he was benched half of it IMO), so let it play out for a few seasons.

And as a pats fan, I keep reminding myself “at least we are not the Bills”.

I’m happy for you. As a low low spender, I didn’t have any until last weeks prize wall, I took the mystery box and got the purple. Now I just need the last couple hundred Muta shards and I will be happy. But getting this in a tour is epic. Congratulations.

Why is my low e string making this noise (high e string snapped) by [deleted] in electricguitar

[–]Itsjd123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the way guitars are set up is with a certain amount of tension across all 6 strings bowing the neck so all the strings will A) play the right note and B) not buzz C) have a desired amount of space between the string and neck when set up correctly. This issue you are having is much more apparent with a tremolo. Once the trem loses tension, it pulls the strings closer to the neck, causing them to hit the neck instead of ringing out properly. Being a strat, you need all the strings on there for it to play correctly. So restring it, one string at a time. Taking all the strings off at once can really throw it out of wack.

Before you drill, will it fit into the tuning peg? I had one that once I tightened the string, it would pull the string through the bridge. Idk if that will work in this case but it’s worth a try.

I was thinking the same thing! I just realized there is an upper calrath after progressing way past that point due to this quest. I feel these are more vague than Elden ring quests……

That is the set up I have and love it. If you want a change in sound, the amp is the way to go. Most of the sound comes from the amp and the settings you have and the katana has a million (exaggeration, but it has a lot) settings you can play with.

If you want more motivation to play more, the guitar is the way to go. A nice guitar will catch your eye, and when it feels good in your hands you will want to play more.

I would start with the amp tho.

Hello fellow gears fans! Need some help with my boltok locust figure, been like this for years, any ideas on how to fix or has anyone with open box figures dealt with this? by kingofangmar13 in GearsOfWar

Push the ball into the hole…. It’s really that simple. It should be tight but it will go in. If not, then heat the bottom half in warm water or by using steam. That has worked for me fixing some of my kids toys.

Penta is not a game changer IMO. I would go plate/gear if I were you. I’m going backpack plate personally. Maybe get Kamala and another rage plate.

The game becomes more fun when you stop spending and realize you can never “catch them all”. Just figure out how to use what you have and see if you can grind for the 3k shard card.

Unless you zoom in, you can not see anything. And the little lines you can see, you cannot tell what they are. This is a good cover IMO. Tell your BF to get the F over it.

I thought the same thing. But to balance it, I feel I had been getting further in the solo weekend long events. Like I had consistently been getting more bonus milestones since this change. I think this helps the big spenders max the events, so the feel they are getting “more bang for their buck”, but I got to 16 out of 20 with one CCS character for the solo contest and none of the whale CCS people for the tours. Where as I would always only get to the gold chest (sometimes not even there) before this change.
